  1. I like the river scene. And the toad that seems to have been there when the water left marks in the sand around it.

  2. So enjoyed going down to the river, Timothy. Looks like there’s a lot of sand showing, I’m thinking low water. Wonderful to see the secret toad in there! Great action shot with the crow. And I especially liked the sweeping clouds and overview of the first photo.

    • Thanks, Jet. The river is at it’s summertime low. The toad is tiny. There were lots of them hopping around in the sand.

  3. Isn’t there a name of a hymn, or close to it … Down By The River. I swear there was one we sung while we lived in Arkansas for a short time. Maybe another music person would know.

      • I don’t think so … the preacher would have flipped if we did. That would’ve been worth seeing. “This Sunday, we are doing music by The Talking Heads.” My mom would have said, “Never you mind, boy. It’s okay to touch the rattler your daddy is touching.”

I’m going to hell for sure! 😏

        • I love snakes and rattlesnakes, but I’ll only handle rattlers with a snake hook. I was accused of being the Devils spawn by Sunday school teachers for having snakes when I was a kid. I was called the Antichrist in a public meeting once. I still have a 9-foot long boa constrictor.

  4. What a surprise, I originally thought I was looking at a Zen sandscape, and then I looked closer nd realized I was looking at a Zen sandscape with reptiles in place of rocks. Incredible camo!
