Thanks, KT. I used to really hate them when they were mostly one smiley face. But I’ve come to tolerate them. Especially since they have added cute kitty emojis, weird faced emojis, along with piles of crap. I am often disappointed by the lack of what should be obvious emojis like the middle finger, beavers, and soccer players, for example.
Yes, I’d like to see a bigger selection. And would love having the middle finger. I wonder if there is one of a bird? If so, it could be used, but would probably just fly over a lot of people’s heads.
Here are the birds: 🐔🐧🐦🐤🐣🐥🦆🦅🦉Nothing bird-like for what we need. I like the owl and here’s a bat that’s pretty good: 🦇. If I could put these two together, one inside the other, they would be useful for expressing certain things: 👉🏻👌🏻.

IMHO, which I know is totally not worth a thing, I think sappy should be limited to bleeding trees and an occasional bleeding heart.
