We talk
My world opposite yours
Your today is my tomorrow
My today is your yesterday
Through your voice I see the future
Through my voice you glimpse the past
When I see the light, you stand in darkness
When darkness engulfs me, your light shines
My summer is your winter
When you spring, I fall
Your world opposite mine
We talk
Timothy, this is exceptional. It is my kind of poetry ๐๐๐๐ฅฐ๐ฅฐ๐ฅฐ
Thank you Gabriela. I’m honored to receive such praise from you.
Timothy, my pleasure. I really enjoyed the poem. Oh, you are so formal. Itโs me, Gabriela and I have Maya and Mr. Churchill with me. and we are sending treats to everyone and hoping everything is ok.
Yes I know, but you have the hottest new release on Amazon right now. I can’t help but feel humility and respect for you. Give Maya and Mr. Churchill a big hug and kisses for me.
Timothy, thank you for your kind words. I appreciate them. But the book has nothing to do with our WP friendship. I am still the same person. Thank so much for the hug and the kisses. Hopefully they will calm them ๐ธ
We are the same people. But you should have recognition, and respect for your most recent accomplishments. You are modest, and humble, I really appreciate you for that, but even though you are the same person, and despite our WP relationship, you are more than deserving of a little formality and heartfelt appreciation for you comment.
Thank you so much for your beautiful words. I should also be grateful to friends like you who supported me and help me to get where I am now ๐ And I am ๐น How is my tree doing? ๐๐๐
Your tree is great. I believe you saw the posts where I had all the invasive elms removed from the property? They really cleaned up around your tree, so it is very happy not to have the competition for water.
I did see the post. I am happy my tree is doing well. When you have time – no pressure- could you please send me a picture of it? Again, no pressure. Only if you can.
I’ll get you a new photo of it tomorrow.
Thank you ๐๐ค
Lets hope for good colors in the sky. It’s supposed to be cloudy.
I trust you know how to find the right moment ๐
Timothy, apologies for the messed up English. The cats are fighting now and I pressed send before I checked what I wrote. Anyway, beautiful poem ๐ธ
I understand. I’m being purr attacked by Marble.
๐ค
I’m with Gabriela. This is exceptional, Tim. I love it.
Thank you, Dale. I feel honored by your comment, also.
That is a fine poem, Tim. I like to peach contrail, too.
that should read “the” not “to”. Autocorect gets me every time. ๐
I didn’t notice until you pointed it out. Between auto-correct and my bad typing, I make so many typos.
Thanks, Lavinia. I’m happy you liked the poem. It’s a peachy keen contrail.
One moment in time, two different perspectives!
One moment sublime, two different places, separated by space and time. Thanks, Brian.
Mesmerizing photo โ Your poem, equally so!
Thank you, Eleanor. I’m happy you like it. I’m waiting with AanticiPation for your song of songs.
BAHAHAHA! You’re welcome ๐ I’m so glad to hear that, hopefully have something up soon. Hang tight
I’m hanging.
I like the double meaning in your poem. If we look at the physical, you could well be writing about the U. S. and Australia. On the other hand, I can see the relationship between generations who seem to operate on opposite ends of the spectrum, figuratively speaking.
The contrail is striking. Itโs been a long time since Iโve seen one that color.
Thanks, KT. I’m happy you get it. But I knew you would. We seem to be on the same frequency when it comes to poetry, art, life the universe and everything. 42!
According to The Hitchhikerโs Guide to the Galaxy (among others), yes!
This is so very true, Tim. It’s quite strange when you think of it like this. I am living your future and you, my past.
Absolutely. Thanks, Roberta.
More please!!!
More for Ms Moore. On the way. Thanks, Shey.
Great stuff Timothy. it is a wonderful poem.
Aw! I appreciate you Shey. Hey I have another on the way.
Tapping the fingers. What I love is it says so much and there’s double meanings, but it is wonderfully accessible and that makes it very powerful.
Well said Shey.
Moving, my dear friend. More antithesis which however point towards the direction of oneness. Thank you for this and for a striking image.
You are welcome, Matina. I’m happy you like it.
Very very much! ๐
Reblogged this on The Reluctant Poet.
Thank you, Chuck. I appreciate it.
Always a pleasure to read and share your posts with followers, My Friend!! Have a great day!
๐๐โจโจ๐
Very nice, Tim. Very nice.

Beautiful ๐

Wonderful words Tim โฆ and so very true! ๐
Thanks, Julie. You are one of my opposites. You’re in my future. I’m in your past. My summer is currently your winter. Soon you will spring and I will fall.
Oh yes .. I sure am one of your opposites ๐
As far as the other side of the world, and being of the opposite and better sex. Other than those rather large differences, I believe we have a lot in common.
I think we do too!! ๐
This is great Tim!!
Thank you!
You are welcome, Resa. Thanks for stopping by.
Oh, how precious! Priceless creation- both the poem and the picture. So so beautiful! Indeed, seems like our virtual community is a world apart, yet connected by technology. This is just wonderful! ๐
That is the wonder of the Internet. We can know each other virtually when we are on opposite sides of the world. Otherwise, we would never each other.
True that! But I do think the world is a small place. I wouldnโt say โneverโ though. Most of us are globetrotters and one never knows how theyโd bump into someone they know online ๐ (Based on true stories!)
But Ofcourse, that doesnโt happen everyday. ๐
It’s a big world with a lot of small wonders. Like unlikely people running into each other.
Indeedy! ๐
