When he does catch things he usually does not hurt them. He brings in bunnies, gophers, moths, and other critters. Then I have to chase the critters all around the house to put them back outside. Thanks, Holly.
Thanks, Teagan. Silver is a pretty kitty. He is big strong and can be pretty intense. When he decides he wants attention, he is adamant about it and bites and claws me to get me to stop what I’m doing and give him my full attention.
Hi Resa. Lola is doing well with her Lola Limp. She gets her splint caught in the food dishes and scrapes them across the floor as she limps along. She’s hilarious.
Silver is beautiful and goes nicely with the bark of the tree 🙂 I know that focused look – I have some birds that have build nests in the eaves outside my kitchen window. I know the birds are around when the cats are crawling over the sink, chattering and just standing still, wide-eyed and focused.
Silver is focused. Hope the butterfly escaped!
The butterfly was way out of reach. Thanks, Juanita.
She just wants to check them out.

Oh that’s so funny! He keeps you busy!
All the cats keep me busy.
Little rascals!
The butterfly is pretty so Silver
Thanks, Becky.
What a handsome kitty and butterfly! What species of butterfly, Tim? That is a very nicely composed photo.
Hi Lavinia. The butterfly is a Mourning Cloak (Nymphalis antiopa).
Maybe Silver is dreaming about becoming a butterfly someday … He is good enough being a cat – but he doesn’t know it yet 🐾
Nice thought, Dot. Believe me he’s eyeing the butterfly not dreaming of being one. Thanks.
He is so intent. Look at those eyes! Silver is gorgeous — and these images are breathtaking, Tim. I had to share them. Hugs on the wing!

Che bel gatto 🙂
Garzie, Simona.
Beautiful series.
Thanks, rabirius.
You have the best cats! (and butterflies) How is Lola? Is she getting better every day?

LOL! She is well taken care of and loved! I hope Spunk and the other boys are giving her space!
Lola would slap them out pretty well before the splint. They are staying clear now because she can really whack them.
Hahahaha!
Aren’t they so curous
They sure are. Thanks, Lonely.
I love it! I don’t know who is more beautiful, Silver or the butterfly?
Silver is more cuddly. Thanks, Tiffany.
