Those specs that look like I could have a very dirty sensor are actually birds flying over downtown Albuquerque with the sunset lighting up the Manzanos in the background.

That’s a lot of birds. The mountains are beautiful. Or are they foothills? One man’s mountain is another man’s foothill. 🙂
The part of the Manzano’s you see in the photo are 8000 to 9000 ft above sea level and 1000 to 2000 feet lower than Manzano Peak (10,098 feet) about 15 miles south. Downtown Albuquerque is 5000 feet above sea level. You can decide if they are mountains or foothills.
Perhaps I will think of them as works of art, as my brain is too tired to care if they are mountains or not. Although, now that I reflect, the White Mountains of NH are about 4,000, so they are definitely mountains by NH standards. 🙂
That’s impressive, and a beautiful image. Do you know what the birds were? (I mean, could you tell?)
Given the distance from my lens and the number of birds, they are probably crows.
The light on the mountains is really beautiful.
Thanks!
