Coloring Between The Lines

I was thinking we were going to have a sky full of colorful clouds at sunset, but as the sun went down the clouds above the lines of clouds disappeared and most of the color was trapped under and between the lines of clouds.

Crows flying under the moon.

Horse smooch from Mustang Hazel.

Clouds to the northwest.

The painter colored between the lines.

Doggonit Santa’s a Jerk!

Santa is one sick, silly dude. He gave me a blue My Little Pony for Christmas. I’m trying to decide if I was naughty or nice (most likely naughty), to deserve this Shocking Blue pony. A Brony I’m NOT! Tristan has a name for her that I’m not going to publish here. Miss Shocking Blue is kind of cute and will probably end up in future posts and videos.

The painter took Christmas off. We had a colorless (gray) Christmas morning.

The moon through a veil of clouds.

Tristan embroidered this amazing tiny portrait for Spunk for Laurie.

Tristan’s beautiful Bearded Dragon, Donny, made an appearance for Christmas.

Mustang Hazel

A new horse in Sara’s corral next door called me over to meet her at the fence last night while I was out photographing the moon under Venus. She is a sweet horse, and really adorable with her bangs and banded main. Sara said her name is Hazel and that Hazel is a mustang rescued from a horse auction as a foal. Hazel seems forever grateful to be saved from the auction block, and she was being a good neighbor greeting me.

The Skies Must Be Crazy

Swallows from below and above.

Rose in the late afternoon light.

Bird on a line, owlets in the cottonwood. Sleepy is wide awake.

Moon through clouds.

They sky was crazy tonight. It had me running from one end of the property to the other the get all the angles.

Intermission: I walked up to the fence along the north side of the property to do another panoramic photo, and got a horse kiss.

The end of the crazy skies.
