We were not able to go on a walk until sunset

Wynona stopped by to say hi

Can you find Wynona in the above photo?

Who do you think hold its beak under water the longest? Looks like the far duck won.

Goose family

Can you find Daddy Owl in the above photo?

While I was photographing Daddy Owl, I heard a chirping close by, and there was a Summer Tanager perched right in front of me. I could barely see him in the darkness.

The clearest shot I could get of the owlet in the darkness. I could not find were the out-of-nest owlet was tonight.

The summer tanager is a beaut.
Thanks, Couriers.
I love the kitty pics!! I think I see Wynonna near the shore and the owl looking like an upright broken branch.
I believe you found them. Thanks, Leenda.
Beautiful series of nature and the glory of a good life! The shot of Wynona is wonderful, and I wonder if every time you see her, your heart beats a little bit faster. We have beavers at my Dad’s pond, and how I loved seeing them… my heart always quickens a bit at their sighting.
I love the beavers, especially when they splash to let other beavers know there is a dangerous paparazzo with a bazooka on the bank. Thanks, Randall.
I really enjoyed that stroll.
Thanks, Shey.
What fabulous photos! The Tanager was a gorgeous find. Hello to the owls, beavers, ducks, kitties, and beautiful views.
Thanks, Nancy.
So many cool photos Tim, but it is the Summer Tanager that caught my eye!
They are striking birds. Thanks, Tiffany.
That Summer Tanager is a real beauty! Hi, Winona!
Thanks, Liz.
You’re welcome, Tim.
Great photos Tim, especially the first sunset, otter, and goose family.
Thanks, Brad.
Those balls of fur gosling are sure cute assuredly with heads full of future dreams of shitting all over golf courses. Nice Tanager shots, finally got one for the year on our I4W event a week or so back…they do not appreciate being called the dull Cardinal!
Geese like a good crapshoot, that’s for sure. I’ve seen three varieties of tanagers this year. Are you familiar with Hepatic Tanagers? I posted photos of a Western Tanager and what Merlin identified as a Hepatic Tanager on the 15th. Thanks, Brian.
I just processed my shots of a hepatic tanager before we headed out. Only seen it once and that was in madera canyon in SE Arizona. Only one left to find is the flame-colored one. Hoping to tin that on our way back as we go through AZ
Sasha and Bunny have the same coloring. Both are beautiful. The birds, all of them, are wonderful. The owlet is just adorable and the owls are such good parents. Love the cats, as usual and sometimes your environment looks like another planet.
Sasha was looking especially cute. Thanks, Gigi.
Sasha is especially cute. 🙂
A great batch of photos……I MIGHT have spotted some of the “can you find them” critters but about the time I think I’ve located them, another little blob catches my eye!
Pam
You probably found them. Thanks Pam.
I love tagging along with you on your adventures. Spectacular colour!
Thanks, Rebacca. I’m happy you can tag along.
All beautiful photos and kitties, too! I hope out-of nest owlet is alright. It looks like they will not be fledging for a while.
That one is starting to get its stripy belly feathers. Thanks, Lavinia.
Wow, the Tanager is gorgeous. New to me. You are overrun with so many birds right now.
I did find 2 bird murals this week. Apparently all these birds live in Toronto, but I rarely see many of them, and some never.
I found the beaver! (Swimming along the edge)
Good eye for Wynona. You find the best murals. I’ve photographed three types of tanagers this season. Thanks, Resa.
The Tangers are gorgeous. You must have seen a couple hundred kinds of birds?
The birdlife is terrific … but it is always so good to see your kitties
Been more birds than cats, lately. Thanks, Julie
You have amazing birdlife Tim.. and I thought ours was good
Thanks, Julie.
