Another beautiful series, Tim! I was able to see the moon briefly up here this morning over in the west. She is definitely out of round now and in the waning gibbous phase.
We have a lot of cranes stay around up here, but they are a very small number compared to the number of cranes that flew further south to Bernardo and Bosque del Apache. Thanks, Nancy.
Oh my. Breathtaking actually
Thanks, Shey.
Gorgeous! Have a great week!
Thanks, Michele. You too.
Wonderful skies all day with a cute and wild intermission.
Thanks, Brad. It was a lovely morning for skies and cranes.

On the wane already. Thanks, Lavinia.
Is it my imagination, or are there even more cranes than usual in the first crane photo?
There are probably more. They shift around between the different roosting spots depending on the water level. Thanks, Liz.
You’re welcome, Tim. Thank you for the additional information.
I am always amazed by the number of cranes you see each day! Wow!
I enjoyed the moon pictures and kitty intermission.
Happy New Year!
