    • I’m pretty sure the engine weighs more than the tiny body and chases it sets in. A cartoon car. Thanks, Marina.

  1. OK…that turquoise car is a tough one. The tail lights are European (based on the amber turn signal, and general shape). But the car is so custom, it’s really hard to tell.
    .
Sunbeam Tiger? Maybe.. Sunbeam Alpine? The lights angle the other way. Can’t be.
    .
Henry J? Maybe a Nash of some kind? The size is right, but those are American cars. And this is European.

    This one is tough!

    • I asked a local car expert what it is, but he hasn’t reponded. It’s a tiny car with a huge engine. Makes me think of the Mad Magazine hotrod cartoons that I loved as a kid. Thanks, DR.

      • Absolutely cartoonish car. But I think that was a thing in drag racing. They’d take light little British cars and stuff big blocks and blowers in them.
        .
And those tail lights… they look like Rolls Royce lights. I’m not suggesting they are… but maybe the parent company Rootes also made small cars.
        .
I’m interested to hear what it really is.

  2. Now you have me wondering, why not big-little?

All these philosophical questions late at night are hard to answer.

    Cute car!

xx My tree, this post and last is gorgeous. Thank Tim!

    • That’s New Mexico turquoise. It’s like a little car with a big dick. Look up Big Dick by Little Big. It’s a bit like Glory Hole. Thanks, Brian.

      • Wow, I was not expecting that video – thought it was in reference to the car…boy was I wrong hehehehe. Mix that song with Barbie Girl from Aqua and I think you will have a hit! Now I must go wash my eyes out hehehe.

        • I tried to warn you is was a bit like SP’s Glory Hole. Little Big is a Russian group. I’m surprised they haven’t ended up in the Russian Gulag with the great protest songs they do.

    • Those are the four exhaust pipes from the right side of the engine. There are four pipes behind the left front wheel, too. The car was driving beside me on my way home from work. It’s a Triumph Harold, according to our local car expert. Thanks, Lavinia.

    • It’s a normal-sized car compared to those, but it’s small compared to contemporary cars. Thanks, Teagan.
