It has quadruple pipes behind the front wheel. That’s a huge V-8 engine in that tiny car. Do you remember the Mad Magazine cartoon cars? That’s what this car reminds me of. Thanks, Gigi.
I have no idea what the cars is. The supercharger is in the center of the windshied. The driver can see on the left side of it, but I’m sure it blocks a lot of the view to the right. Thanks, Liz.
OK…that turquoise car is a tough one. The tail lights are European (based on the amber turn signal, and general shape). But the car is so custom, it’s really hard to tell.
.
Sunbeam Tiger? Maybe.. Sunbeam Alpine? The lights angle the other way. Can’t be.
.
Henry J? Maybe a Nash of some kind? The size is right, but those are American cars. And this is European.
.
This one is tough!
I asked a local car expert what it is, but he hasn’t reponded. It’s a tiny car with a huge engine. Makes me think of the Mad Magazine hotrod cartoons that I loved as a kid. Thanks, DR.
Absolutely cartoonish car. But I think that was a thing in drag racing. They’d take light little British cars and stuff big blocks and blowers in them.
.
And those tail lights… they look like Rolls Royce lights. I’m not suggesting they are… but maybe the parent company Rootes also made small cars.
.
I’m interested to hear what it really is.
It’s Little Big because it reminded me of the song by Little Big called Big Dick. But the song, and especially the video, are not appropriate for the post. Thanks, Resa.
Wow, I was not expecting that video – thought it was in reference to the car…boy was I wrong hehehehe. Mix that song with Barbie Girl from Aqua and I think you will have a hit! Now I must go wash my eyes out hehehe.
I tried to warn you is was a bit like SP’s Glory Hole. Little Big is a Russian group. I’m surprised they haven’t ended up in the Russian Gulag with the great protest songs they do.
Fire in the sky and an old aqua mobile! I enjoyed your selections, Tim. Where did you find that car, and what is that thing behind the right front tire?
Those are the four exhaust pipes from the right side of the engine. There are four pipes behind the left front wheel, too. The car was driving beside me on my way home from work. It’s a Triumph Harold, according to our local car expert. Thanks, Lavinia.
Hi, Tim. I just now stumbled upon this post that I missed last month. Love the little turquoise color and car. Is it as tiny as one of these (video). The video came across my YouTube feed awhile back. Hugs.
Love the car! And the skies, of course.
It’s a fascinating car. It’s tiny and the engine is almost as big as the car. Thanks, Dale.
No way! How cool is that?
It is. When I saw the car i thought about Little Big’s Big Dick song. The song or video is not appropriate for my blog.
Right. Gotcha 😉
Are those triple exhaust pipes behind the front wheel? Cool car and sky.
It has quadruple pipes behind the front wheel. That’s a huge V-8 engine in that tiny car. Do you remember the Mad Magazine cartoon cars? That’s what this car reminds me of. Thanks, Gigi.
LOL I do remember and that’s a great car.
That’s a fantastic looking car!
It’s like a cartoon car. It’s a tiny car with a humongous V-8. Thanks, Herman.
I am. not a car person, but I love the turquoise blue car here:). and such beautiful skies….
The car is a very New Mexico turqouise. Thanks, Janet.
I love the colours of New Mexico…..:)
Little car big exhaust pipes in a wonderful place!
I’m pretty sure the engine weighs more than the tiny body and chases it sets in. A cartoon car. Thanks, Marina.
Fascinating, tell more about that motor.
Now..that’s a car…..
It’s a cartoon car. Do you remember the old Mad Magazine cartoon cars? I loved them when I was a kid. Thanks, Shey.
, I do remember them. Mad Mag was great.
Beautiful skies! What kind of car is that? Is the engine in front of the windshield?
I have no idea what the cars is. The supercharger is in the center of the windshied. The driver can see on the left side of it, but I’m sure it blocks a lot of the view to the right. Thanks, Liz.
I was thinking the driver’s view would be blocked.
The car is a Triumph Herald.
Thanks for the additional information!
It looks to me like a souped up Triumph Herald, Liz. I had an unsouped up one long ago. Hehe! ♥
Thanks, Inchy.
Amazing skys, Caught there, Sir. Is that a Triumph Herald car? Cheers.

The car expert said it’s a Triumph Herald.
Oh. A Triumph… I would never have guessed that.
.
But they’re an English company, right?
They are British. We had a Triumph GT 6+ in the early 70s. Our Cuban friend found a Spitfire in the 90s and retored it.
I was about to say something snarky about British cars, then I remembered I owned a 997cc 1979 Mini and it brought me so much joy…
.
…and pain.
Joy and pain is a good description of British cars.
What a sweet hot rod to go along with the sweet skies!
Thanks, Nancy. Like a cartoon hotrod.
Now you have me wondering, why not big-little?
All these philosophical questions late at night are hard to answer.
Cute car!
xx My tree, this post and last is gorgeous. Thank Tim!
It’s Little Big because it reminded me of the song by Little Big called Big Dick. But the song, and especially the video, are not appropriate for the post. Thanks, Resa.
AH! xx
Yikes! Not sure you can keep the wheels on the ground with that engine – not fond of the color choice though.
That’s New Mexico turquoise. It’s like a little car with a big dick. Look up Big Dick by Little Big. It’s a bit like Glory Hole. Thanks, Brian.
Wow, I was not expecting that video – thought it was in reference to the car…boy was I wrong hehehehe. Mix that song with Barbie Girl from Aqua and I think you will have a hit! Now I must go wash my eyes out hehehe.

Beautiful and impressive!
Thanks, Jean.

Upturned exhaust pipes???? Seems like they would collect rain if the car is sitting.
They are classic dragster-style pipes.
That is some trickster car with the pipes, Tim💓

I Build Tiny Cars Out Of Old Fridges | RIDICULOUS RIDES
It’s a normal-sized car compared to those, but it’s small compared to contemporary cars. Thanks, Teagan.
