The cats may not be impressed, but I am impressed with your Pterodactyl rain-ku. Also, there is definitely a “Pterodactyl Rain” of Prince’s “Purple Rain” that is begging to be written. I can’t sing Prince, but this parody definitely wants to be written with a music video of pterodactyls

Laurie helped with it when she asked how to spell pterodactyl. One of her third-grade students spelled it with an “o”, and Laurie thought it might be an “a” like pteradacyl.
