That was a cool shot with the sun glowing through the branches, And that heron definitely was posing. I think he’d have a great chance to make the cover.
The red hues in that second shot matches the eyes of those Black-Crested Night-Herons! A bit unsettling when I see those in the wild – blood thirsty ha.
He was posing! And the sun setting on the mountains, gorgeous!
Thanks, Nancy.
What a good looking bird!☺️
Thanks, Becky.
A both nice and funny bird. And I like the real and false red roses!
Thanks, Heidi.
Beautiful. So tranquil, every single pic.
Thanks, Shey.
he certainly knows how to pose. Great captures.
Thanks, Couriers.
Heron’s Quarterly? He’d make an iconic Runway Walk!
Gorgeous Dr. Huey.
Thanks, Marina.
Dr. Huey shines again….and the Heron is glorious….:)

Work it for the camera, Mr. Heron! (You may want to consider the dated Moe hairdo.)
Hahaha! on the hairdo consideration. To thank you. Thanks, Liz.
You’re welcome, Tim! 😁
Magnificent birds… Love the magical quality of the Sun through the tree.. 🙂 xx
Heron’s Quarterly, hilarious! You could start something with that idea.
Beautiful
Thanks, Saania.
Hey, he just might be.. How did you get that burst of what the heck is it? Cool, Tim💗
It’s the sun shining through the trees behind the heron. Thanks, Cindy.
Wow sooo cool☀️
I really like the light in your heron pictures, Timothy. It is fascinating and beautiful.
Thanks, Roberta.
And now I find out that you are also a Heron whisperer, Tim.
Night Herons are will models. I’ve been friends with the Great Blue Heron aka pTerodactyl for years. Thanks, Rebecca.
Awesome photos of the birds and landscape!! ❤️
Thanks, Samantha.
Dr. Huey sure is pretty!
The heron is quite special looking. Wonderful Sandias. Thank you, Tim! xx
You are welcome, Resa.
Gorgeous, Timothy!
Thanks, Holly.
The Dr. Huey is beautiful! Our own Dr. Huey is blooming now, too. It is the first one to bloom this year.
I like the night heron. I don’t think I have ever seen one. Mo is a handsome fellow.
The Sandias reflecting in the river is a beautiful finish to your set.
Thanks, Lavinia.

He was a good poser. Maybe he was sizing me up. Thanks, Brian.
