  1. White Nights is what they call night above the Arctic Circle during the summer months, especially in Russia. You certainly have one tonight in NM.

      • Tara has. The Mikhail Baryshnikov movie, “White Nights,” is more my speed. I liked the dancing he did in the movie, which was choreographed by Tywla Tharp. I did follow him more when I studied dance. My study of dance was to restrengthen my knee after spraining all three ligaments, ACL, MCL, and PCL when I was 15.

Baryshnikov is Latvian, so he has no love lost for Russia. He choreographs these days, from ballet to modern dance.

On a side note, I am choreographing some dance for Elizabeth, for concert purposes. She doesn’t want to do much, which I can understand. Those who sing and dance, are lipsyncing, which she doesn’t want to do.

    • I thought about it, but I would never be reaching the end. However, nights in white satin and black lace would be fitting in this day and age. Thanks, Brad.

  2. I like that composition. That looks very much like what I saw up here last night. A clearing post sundown followed by clouds moving in and a lightly veiled moon. Thick fog and right on freezing this morning.

    • It was chilly when I took the photo. There is not much warmth around here at the moment. It’s been down to the mid 20s (-4ºC) in the mornings and it’s 48ºF (9º C) right now. I waiting to see if the temp goes up a few more degrees before I go out for a bike ride. Thanks, Charlotte.

  3. Cold hearted orb that rules the night
Removes the colours from our sight
Red is grey and yellow white
But we decide which is right
    And which is an illusion?

    • Breathe deep the gathering gloom
Watch lights fade from every room
Bed sitter people look back and lament
      Another days useless energy spent
      Impassioned lovers wrestle as one
Lonely man cries for love and has none
New mother picks up and suckles her son
Senior citizens wish they were young…

And here we are never reaching the end. Thanks, Brian.
