In my 1960’es-something-childhood, we had a toy – just longhaired plush in strong colours with big eyes – named “Mini-Troll”. Smokey Kitty seems to be a lookalike, in a more sophisticated colour.

As Heidi mentioned, those Fuzzy toys form the 60s/70s that were a ball of fur with two eyeballs. The Paparazzo has a way of “purrturbing” felines. Thanks, Brian.
