Mr. Paparazzo, your play with lights and flares is superb, especially that last one! And as if that wasn’t enough beautiful words accompany them too! 👌
Beautiful mages, and the last one especially intriguing as I can’t figure out what it is or how you got it. I am looking forward to the balloon festival too, Tim
Thanks, Lavinia. The rogue amebas in the last photo are a mystery. The photo is of the sun through my telescope. I put a sun filter on it and set it to track the sun in preparation for the eclipse next Saturday. I took the photo through the eyepiece with my eye phone. The small spots are sun spots. The large spot is the mirror at the end of the telescope that directs the image to the eyepiece.
Danzig beat me to the solar killshot comment. Hope your preparation for next week’s annular eclipse will not go to waste. Most of Colorado had their first frost last night. Kristy said she had to throw on an extra blanket and quilt on her bed. Her heater cats were out of service … they were sleeping on a furnace vent. She discovered one cat under the covers with her this morning, with head on pillow. The heater cats were in the sunny window warming up.
Love hot air balloons.. I did have a tethered ride in one years ago… I wish I could have floated higher I took my children for the experience .. They loved it too xx
Wow Tim. this is amazing. Love the dark spots and your great haiku!❣️
Thanks, Cindy.
💕
Cool shots! Seems like that just happened. Time is flying. I look forward to your photos of the event.
Thanks, Michele.

If that big black spot is a sunspot, we’d be in serious trouble.
Are we not in serious trouble according to the powers that be? Thanks, Danzig.
Not from a solar kill shot.
Ooooh, it’s starting!!! The balloon photos will certainly make my weekend! 💖✨💙💛
I’m getting ready to go out to the river and see which way the wind is going to blow the balloons today.
Thanks, Samantha.
A Sun-ku. Looking forward to your balloon posts.

Lavinia, I was just going to ask the same question. The result of the photo is really Timothy Priceless.
Thanks, Geoff.

We’ve had temps showing in the mid 30’s, but I had light frost on the car one morning. I had six cats on me that morning. Thanks, Deborah.

Thanks, Sue. Untethered is much more fun.
Gorgeous Sun photo!!! And the hot air balloons within auras are unique to my experience photographing while crewing… lovely.
The auras off the sun were a greet effect. Thanks, Cheyenne.
Wonderful! Lots of scope for creativity in your photos. How long does the fiesta go for?
The fiesta goes for 9 days. Thanks, Miriam.
Lots of time for many wonderful pics.
That is true.
Looks like an invasion of the sun!
Nowhere is safe any more. xx
Fun shots.
Rogue amebas everywhere. Thanks, Resa.
Flying in a hot air balloon would be so much fun 🤩
It’s fun, especially if you like floating in the air.
I think it would be fun and peaceful. As long as I don’t look down too much lol
Have yourself an impressive Venn Diagram going there in that first shot.
