We also have those here
I just prefer the green, yellow and red peppers these days.
Hardly that much chilli in my foods and definitely not spicy hot.
You are welcome Timothy.
I didn’t go into detail on green chiles this year since I have posted the process many times over the years. I don’t think I posted anything on it last year. So much the same as it ever was these days.
Although the bike is new. I haven’t ridden in several years. I sold my good bikes years ago. Walking has been bothering my joints, so I pulled an old cruiser out of the infinite shed of doom, modified it to fit me the best I could, and started riding it on the ditch banks. It did not fit well at all plus it beat the crap out of me on the rough ditch banks, so I got a nice, large bike with shocks. I’m not going to ride on the road because of road ragers and too many distracted drives.
That’s all good, Tim. I’m always interested in the various ways of preservings.
Good for you on the bike. Bummer that it’s too dangerous to ride on the roads! Good grief. Smart to take care of your joints. I’ve been looking at my bike thinking it deserves me to take it out again.
BTW. The sky is especially wild in this photo because I had to stitch several photos together in a panorama. It’s hard for Photo Raw to aligh the clouds properly, so the image becomes exaggerated, which makes for an interesting image. The cloud arch was so vast, I could only see a port of it in the sky.
Nice bike! That first shot is really cool – don’t think I have ever seen that cloud pattern before – like an electrical current between the two tree lines.
The cloud arc was so large it took 4 photos to make the panorama, and it came out exaggerated because Camera Raw had a hard time stitching the clouds together. Thanks, Brian.
That opening shot…OMG, I’ve never seen a sky close to that.
Wow.
How hot are those chillies?
Sending love all round…you, Laurie, Kitties, animals… all round!
They are hotter than normal this year due to the dry conditions. Thanks, Resa. BTW we have receive 1/2 inch of rain this month. 50 times more rain than in July.
Omg, that sky is incredible.
Thanks, Miiriam.
Unreal! Painter’s on fire!
Thanks, Marina.
That sky is something else. You have no idea of the things I can’t decide it is, the different thigns I see in it. But the other pics are great too. .
Thanks, Shey.
Love roasted peppers- yellow, red or green too.
Magnificent image of the sky. It looks like a piece of igneous rock of topaz in the sky. Beautifully framed.
Thanks, abvr. Our chiles are green or red and are spicy hot.

That is the coolest!
And are those chilis being roasted? Mmmmm
Nice bike!
Yest the chiles are being roasted. Thanks, Dale.
And what do you do with them? Do they become part of salsa, are they simply jarred? Inquiring minds want to know!
That is quite the contraption, too!
We eat green chile on everything. Remember this post? https://wp.me/p1yQyy-6Lq
Yes, I remember, now. What I forgot was what you did with them once roasted. I see they are frozen 🙂

Your bike is begging for you to ride it.
Now that I have a gel cushion, I will actually use it. It was a torture device!
That sky is incredible! What makes that effect?
I had to stitch several photos together in a panorama. Thanks, Liz.
Hilary inspired sky?
I suppose it is. Thanks, Brad.
That is some sky Tim. Love it❣️
Thanks, Cindy.
That is some set of clouds! Looks like a hair-raising experience.
What a strange cloud!
Tim – this is the third time around to see your iconic photo of the sky. You always, always, always, remind me of the beauty of our world. Thank you.
Thanks, Rebecca.

An amazing cloud panorama!
Thanks, Rebecca.
That sky is incredible! Beautiful sky, green chiles, cool bikes… what more can you ask for?
Thanks, Michele. It’s a great bike.
As my kids would say, that’s unfair … doing other stuff outside of work, driving and stuff (LOL).
Thanks, Danzig.
Wow, that fire in the sky made me jump!!!
Thanks, Cheyenne.
Now this is a pretty cool shot. Artistic 🙂
Thanks, Sandra.
Wow ~ it looks like an incredible oil painting, something you’d never expect to exist in the real world 🙂
Thanks, Randall.

Yes. We need a lot more rain.
