Oh my gosh they are so gorgeous Tim. That color looks magical what an amazingly wild and beautiful capture. ❤️
You are most welcome. Hope you two are doing well and staying healthy. Big hugs 🤗
We are plugging along. How are you doing these days?
Beautiful birds and beautiful color, Tim. Great capture here.
Yes, the sun makes many things golden. What a pretty pair. The double breasted ones around here look so dark on the lake. I just read they’re trying to cull them on Lake Michigan as they compete with humans for fishing rights. 🙂
Cormorants need to eat, too. Thanks, Mary Jo.
That is a beautiful photo and Timku. I love seeing the wildlife in your area.
Thanks, Lavinia. It was 16ºF this morning and the temp is already below freezing.
27 here this morning, and will probably be as cold tomorrow. It got up into the mid 50s during the day.
Thi high was 45 today.
This is a magical image!!
You’re welcome, Tim.
Clever, witty and talented! Golden crown to the artist!
Crown him with many golden cormorants. Then he’d look like a weird wing-headed Medussa, enough to make anyone freeze like a stone at the sight. Thanks, Dale.
Hehehe! That would be quite the sight! Speaking of freeze, there is a light dusting of snow on my car this morning,.. Sigh.
-7.8ºC at the moment here. Everything id frosty cold.
Not ridiculously cold here but already a good 3 inches, if not more of snow has fallen.
Those in flight images are always stare-worthy, Tim. Fun verse as well, Thanks for sharing this post.
You are welcome, Maj & Sher. Thanks for dropping by.
Bright and brave, they turned into gold in the sky.
Yes they did. Thanks, Eunice.
You are welcome.
Ja, da werden sogar die schwarzen Kormorane vergoldet. Sehr schön!
They sure did turn gold! Great picture!
Gold is also your image and words, Tim… pure gold!
Aww. Thanks, Marina.
Beautiful capture, Tim!
Does that count as a new species – I have the double-crested and the Neotropical.. a gold one would be a nice new check!
I think they are neotrops, but I can say for sure. You can can them as newgolddiggers. Thanks, Brian.
Wow perfect captures in gold silhouette Tim❣️
The sunset really did give these birds a beautiful golden colour.
Magic photo Tim!
Rumplestiltskin should be humbled!
He’s a bit shriveled up over it. Thanks, Resa.
