This is a feral turkey, so it like a wild turkey. Domestic turkeys will let you get close to them and touch them. When I as young we had turkeys. We would call them and they would come running to us.
Ok 🙏❤️ Tnx
Oh my, magical is the appropriate term for those sky pics tonight. Beautiful.
Awesome sky shots, Tim. Laurie got good turkey shots too. Those are big and can be mean birds. Looks like we’re in for cloudy skies for the lunar eclipse. Rats.
I love the turkey in the mists. I’ve seen a few up here, though rarely have they come through the farm. The moon and magical moonlight photos are beautiful, too. You are seeing much more of the moon down there than we are these days.
I didn’t know that about bowling for turkeys. I won a turkey in a turkey shoot once. It was a frozen turkey. We were shooting at targets. A friend lent me his pistol, and I got the highest score. I think it was over 300, but I don’t remember. Thanks, Brian.
Nice turkey. She is shy? Moonlight is as magic ❤️
Tanks, Meli. The turkey is not one to let you get too close.
😅 Tnx you inform me, I newer met them

You’re welcome, Tim.
Daily fix received! 😉
I guess I’m like one of those underworld characters supplying you with fixes from the upperworld. Thanks, Marina.
Both upperworld! Couldn’t be any other way! 😉
I love these pics. Beautifully ethereal.
Thanks, Shey. You can meditate on them after a weekend of fun.
indeed.

The turkeys usually keep their distance. The forecast is for clear skies here. Lets home for a parting of the clouds over you. Thanks, May & Sher.
Beautiful Moon shot and wonderful Turkey 🙂
Thanks, Sue.
really lovely Tim
Thanks, Sylvia.
a lone turkey is unusual… maybe he thinks he’s an owl.. ha😂
Love that magical firework sky Tim and of course the moon is amazing! 👏👏👏
It is unusual to see one turkey. Thanks, Cindy.
It really is.. you’re so welcome! 💖💖
We get a lot of wild turkeys around here. I love the night cloudscapes, so dramatic!
The village has been keeping our feral turkey population down, from what I’ve heard. It’s been about 5 years since we’ve seen one.
Love the turkey, the trees, the moon… 🙂
Thanks, Dale.

The clouds just pass through on their way to somewhere else. Thanks, Lavinia.
A hen turkey, how can you tell?
Are the males more fancy?
Fab moonlight shots. Is the mist fog, or smoke?
The males are large and fancier. It’s pretty easy to tell the difference. It was dust. Thanks, Resa.
Ah dust! Missed that one.
Really magical moonlight! Beautiful so peaceful. 🙏🏻🙏🏻
The moon shots are stunning!
Thanks, Kaylin.
Hmm, three strikes makes a turkey in bowling, wonder if your three turkey shots means one frame short of a perfect 300? Mystical moonshots.
