I hear that. I over focused on a particular bat in Austin one year, stupidly near a streetlight… Ever had one fly in and get caught in your hair? I was hoping for some defeat to just get it free.
As Holly said. Getting a bat in your hair will make you crazy. Getting it out of your hair would be crazy. I’m crazy enough without bats in my hair. I posted this link for John. One of our ditch bank friends walks on the levee in long sleeves, leggings, balaclava, goggles, and a face shield. She looks like a Ninja. She’s really cute. She is conscientious enough to have a little, portable PA system on her so when she talks to us we can hear her. I don’t think she will get bats in her hair.

Thanks, John. Dr. J. Scott Altenbach, I had him for biology way back in college, is the bat photo expert. He developed high speed flashes and electronic tripwire to capture bats in filght.
