I have weed flowers too. I think you can call them wildflowers too. The weed flowers I have produces a yellow flower also … wide open in the morning, shriveled by noon to handle the afternoon heat, then repeat this sequence the next morning. Reply
That’s a short life span. Most flowers close their petals at night and open again to the sun light. They are are pretty for the short time they have. Reply

Excellent images. Reminds me of the lavender-ish Morning Glories along our fence growing up.
We have morning glories to but they bloom for much longer through the day than these flowers.
