Thanks, Maj and Sher. Fortunately, we don’t get much serious hail around here. Although many years ago I had a Renault Le Car (remember them?) with a large canvas sunroof. We got golfball-sized hail one summer that pulverized that canvas top. However, it didn’t dent the car, surprisingly enough.
The vampire caught my eye as I was scrolling by and I didn’t notice the fish until I opened the whole photo ad thought, “wow.” Some of the best shots are the ones that are shot ont he draw.
That’s true.
Nnnooo! The lippies, Timothy, remember? Cute. Not food. I don’t blame you for water preferences. I do not eat fish either. Apparently, I eat crab meat when knowledge of what I’m eating is concealed from me (and lavender cosmos is in the picture).
We saw our first ever catfish yesterday. Sadly dead, floating in the canal. It was huge and we couldn’t work out what it was as we’ve never seen a fish that big here before.
Interesting shot! Poor little catfish. I mean ; cat – fish. First time I saw one I was 8. Terrified the bejesus out of me. I was destined for a vegetarian life at an early age. I had a pet turkey at 15. My dad said the skunks got him, but in fact he was Thanksgiving dinner. I’ve never eaten turkey since.
Nice catch, and glad the hailstorm is on a shirt and not destroying your roof and car’s hood.

You got me with the title! Your at 5K ASL so I thought you guys got hit. Do you eat these fish?
I don’t eat fish pulled out of the Rio Grande (I’m not much of a fish lover in general), but the people who were catching them said they eat them.
That looks like “Talk to the catfish”. π
Good thing the catfish doesn’t have fangs. Thanks, Lavinia.
I love the expression on the fish. Great shot! Great catch as well!
Thanks, Art. I noticed the catfish and the vimpire had similar expressions. Fortunately, I was able to get the shot before the guy moved the catfish.

Oh wow your tshirt and the fish look like an art piece when I first looked at this. Nice shot and catch. ππΌππΌππ
Hi Michelle Marie. That’s not my shirt. Some stranger fishing on the Rio Grande. It is a nice catch both for him and me.
We saw our first ever catfish yesterday. Sadly dead, floating in the canal. It was huge and we couldn’t work out what it was as we’ve never seen a fish that big here before.
Hi Couriers. Catfish reportedly get up to 2 meters long in the lakes around here.
Well, this one was probably 1m.
That’s a big fish.
Nice shot. π itβs a pretty big catfish. And itβs going to be a delicious meal soon π
Hi Vincent. The catfish get a lot bigger that that one out here.
πwow, I only saw a big catfish once, and it was already dead π
Are you a fan of catfish?π
Do you enjoy eating them or you enjoy seeing them, or both?π
Hi Vincent. I’m not much of a fish eater, and I don’t like fishing. I would much rather see them swimming around than on a hook.
π I see you have heart for fish. Itβs nice. Imagine those little creatures on a hook
So if you donβt like fishes, what of beef π₯© or any hard meat π
Excellent.
Thanks, rabirius.
Haven’t caught a catfish since I was 12!
You have something to look forward to. Thanks, Teri.
Nahhhh… rather catch my fish at the grocers than deal with prepping them myself now.
Big catfish. They do say mrrrow … too. You just can’t hear them. π
Catfish are incredibly hard to clean when you catch them rivers and lakes (can you say mud). But, farmed catfish, not so bad.
Hi David. I would mess with fish from the Rio Grande in these parts.

Thanks, Resa, I’m not much of a turkey eater. I like turkey’s on the wing.
Adorable creatures!
Thatβs a fine looking Catfish! Great shot.
Not the prettiest fish in the world!
No they are not. Thanks, Tiffany.
