Oh that is terrible! Something really needs to be done about this.
The bike frames was taken fairly soon after I photographed. Grease traps are a disgusting part of life with restaurants.
I know only too well about grease and restaurants, Tim. I was a waitress, cocktail waitress for many years. The kitchen in of itself was a grease pit. Anyone who works in restaurants is very hesitant to eat out. At least I am.
One would hope. We’ve had to deal with stinky grease traps in the alley for years. It can get really bad in the summer, especially when the swap coolers suck that not so delightful odor into the building.
Uch! WE have a lot of restaurants around us, but rarely smell their uch. However, the squirrel, rat and raccoon populations are extremely healthy. I think they eat grease for dessert.
I’m sure the Raccoons would especially like old gross grease for desert. Several years ago, some raccoons opened a bottle of charcoal lighter fluid I had on a shelf in our outdoor kitchen. I gather they got high on it and were tripping out because they totally ransacked our outdoor kitchen.
Yuck…!
🙂
That’s an understatement. Thanks, Susan.
Does look like some chaos there. Is that a company that makes biogas?
Hi Lavinia. I assume they do or they sell the grease to someone who does.
Looks like CHAOS took a beating.Plenty of gas meters in the background too.
There are apartments and businesses in the building behind the grease trap that the meters feed. Thanks, David.
There is an invasion of mice in my grass garden, yuk 😦
Mice are mor fun than grease traps. Thanks, Harry.
OH that’s disgusting! Turns my stomach. Ewwwww ……
It is. I have to face it every time I go out the back door of my office. Thanks, AmyRose.

I know what you mean.
That’s a hotbed of yuck!
I only hope they can get things under control!
