I know only too well about grease and restaurants, Tim. I was a waitress, cocktail waitress for many years. The kitchen in of itself was a grease pit. Anyone who works in restaurants is very hesitant to eat out. At least I am.
One would hope. We’ve had to deal with stinky grease traps in the alley for years. It can get really bad in the summer, especially when the swap coolers suck that not so delightful odor into the building.
Uch! WE have a lot of restaurants around us, but rarely smell their uch. However, the squirrel, rat and raccoon populations are extremely healthy. I think they eat grease for dessert.
I’m sure the Raccoons would especially like old gross grease for desert. Several years ago, some raccoons opened a bottle of charcoal lighter fluid I had on a shelf in our outdoor kitchen. I gather they got high on it and were tripping out because they totally ransacked our outdoor kitchen.

The bike frames was taken fairly soon after I photographed. Grease traps are a disgusting part of life with restaurants.
