Hi, Tim. Yesterday morning I was out up here photographing Painted Ladies and the tiny butterfly early in your series with the touch of blue. I didn’t see any like the third one in your series. The place that seems to have the most up here? One particular cotoneaster shrub in the grocery store parking lot! It reminded me of all the butterflies we saw several years ago when we were in the east mountains for a horseshoeing event. I don’t know why that one shrub in the parking lot attracts so many, but it does…
This is a very beautiful collection of photographs, Tim!
Thanks, Herman!
It’s a pretty tiny world after all 🙂
Thanks, Teri!
Lovely! It’s often the smallest creatures in our world that have the biggest impact on our lives 🙂
True. Thanks, Holly.
That is a very tiny world! I like your choice of insects.
Thanks, Resa!
Really great shots!
Thanks, Tiffany.
Love the tiny world in your world.
Thanks, Nancy.

Hi Susan. It’s interesting the different critters we have in our respective microclimates.
Fantastic shots. I tried shooting a bee yesterday… a dozen unusable shots later, I gave up and went into Sulk-Mode. Hehe! Cheers.
Thanks, Inchcock. Bees can be hard to capture with a camera.
How lovely to get up close with the bug life … Great shots Tim 🙂
We have a good selection of bugs. Thanks, Julie.
