I irrigated on Thursday. A gopher hole created an unwanted lake that was draining water that the plants needed. After 30 minutes of trying to plug the hole where it was flowing out of the ground, which I knew wouldn’t work, I finally found two holes that were the source and plugged them. Not before getting a significant-sized lake. The whole thing reminded me of how the Salton Sea was created.

Pre-Bloody Super Flower Moon Rise
The Flowers: Mutant Peace, Peonies and Rio Samba.
The western clouds were beautiful, but not promising for a clear sky in the wee hours of the morning when the Super Flower Moon gets bloody. I’ll get up a 3:00am and check the sky.

There was nice color in the west, but I missed most of it photographing the moon.
Pe Pe Pe Peonies
Our Peonies are blooming. They get a little burnt around the edges from our intense sunshine, but they still look good.
