Those are beautiful photos, Tim. I can all the bristles on those critters. There is an old folk song about a spider and a fly called “A Fly’s Got No Ears”. I’ll have to find the lyrics.
If that is a Peony I can guarantee there is an ant nearby – that is the sum total of what I know about that flower (well, truthfully, all I know about flowers in totality).
These spider guys are great posers.
Thanks, Anita.
Whoa! That is a pretty fly spider guy indeed!
Love the bee and ant, too.
Wonderful BugKu, Timothy!
Thanks, Dale. It bugs.
Love it
The detail you were able to capture in these photos is amazing!
Thanks, Liz.
You’re welcome, Tim.
wow, love the detail.. “I”ll bee”. cute Tim❣️
Thanks, Cindy.
Welcome! ❣️
The arachnid feasting is a striking image, Tim. Dale calling out the bugku is cute.
Bugku is a great name for it. Thanks, Maj & Sher.
Does whatever a spider can.
Can a spider bee or not bee? That is the question! Thanks, Brad.
Whether ’tis nobler blah blah blah…
You nailed that perfectly with the fly there
Thanks, Frank.
Beautiful nature and beautiful shot
Thanks, Shilpa.
Cool shots! I just used the phrase, dog-eat-dog world on David’s post. Must be a theme tonight. 😆
Love the close up view, Tim!
Thanks, Rebecca.
That is one damn fine spider. Bee and ant too.
Thanks, Shey.
Beautifully captured…..
Thanks, Janet.
Wonderful macro shots Timothy.
Thanks, Rudi.
Dod-eat-dog indeed! That fly isn’t having a good time!
At least bees don’t eat ants!
The fly ws a sorry guy. The was left to bee. Thanks, Marina.
I see my comment didn’t make musch sense. Too early in the morning.
I think it did! Fly didn’t make it but and was left to …bee! 😉
Awesome!
Thanks, tiffany.
DANG. Those are some close-ups, alright!!! 👀
Up close and personal. Thanks, Samantha.
Great photos!

I can just hear that famous line for the movie The Fly 😉
Thanks, Teri.

Flies seem to hear pretty well. Unless a jumping spider sneaks up on them. Thanks, Lavinia.
Nice BugKu, as Dale calls it!
Looks like the spider and the bee are waiting for the ant to open the peony.
Is it a peony bud?
Peonies don’t mess around. They have balls for buds. Thanks, Resa.
Hahahaha!
If that is a Peony I can guarantee there is an ant nearby – that is the sum total of what I know about that flower (well, truthfully, all I know about flowers in totality).
Ants do like peonies. Thanks, Brian.
