Virgas hung from anemic clouds
Teasing parched earth that begged for rain
Moon rose, hung in the trees
Strawberry Moon forever?
Night heron and Snowiy egret reflected in Rio Grande’s water
It’s dwindling into a stream
Stormclouds blushed at sunset
Embarrassed by their precipitous disfunction

It never ceases to amaze me how the Rio can swell, and then dry up.
xo
The Rio was a foot higher at 6:00 a.m. the other morning from rains out west and up north. When we went out at 8:00 p.m. that evening, the river was down again. That foot of water had evaporated away in 14 hours. Thanks, Resa.
Crazy!! Thanks Tim! xx
