The persistence of pareidolia. Left to right: Wolf’s head. Three faces above the wolf’s head. Head and shoulders of a bear lying on its back. Kitty in the sky. A person looking down on from the top. A long-eared hound running over a fox that’s lying on its back over Resa’s Wolf Tree, and a pig in the lower right (see my key at the end of the post).

Sunset

Here’s what I saw.

For ne, if tilt my head, the square one looks like a cartoon cat head.
At least you see a cartoon cathead. Thanks, leenda.
I love when you post these because I rarely recognize things in IRL clouds these days, despite searching.
I will go out and look for what I can spot 🙂 I remember doing this as a kid!
Finding images in clouds is fun as an adult too. Thanks, Ilze.
It’s overcast today and a bit of rain… I’ll added this to my summer bucket list 🙂
We rarely have fully overcast skies and very little rain. We do get shape-shifting scattered clouds passing overhead or hanging around the horizon.
Loved the clouds……what you saw as a kitty I saw as a fancy goldfish but the others I absolutely saw…..the human faces – EXTRA fascinating. FUN! Reminds me of lying in the grass and staring at the clouds as a little girl………..
Pam
Laurie saw a fish instead of a cat, also. Thanks, Pam.
I did indeed but I thought i have got all this wrong. BTW the sunset ones are stunning.
Everyone sees images in clouds differently or they only see clouds. You can’t get it wrong. Thanks, Shey.
I know. They tell their own stories.
I love your creativity, Tim. It is fun to see things in the clouds.
Beautiful photos, of course.
Thanks, Dale. Is it like the old saying, “Twisted minds see things in clouds alike!”?
Haha! Dunno about twisted minds…
More beautiful skies, moon, cats, and planets. I enjoy your daily dose of life in the SW. Thanks Tim.
Thanks, Brad. I’m happy I can share my corner of the SW with you.
All I see is a blue leopard with red rings for spots…I might need more sleep ha.
I think we all need more sleep. Thanks, Brian.
Days of clouds and roses, and cats! You had a great day for cloud watching, Tim!
For some reason WP is coming up with what look like 2 identical feeds for your blog now.
WP has been acting up a lot for me lately. Lots of good clouds passing through. Thanks, Lavinia.
A beautiful day for beautiful roses!
We were remembering Mr. Roger’s, “It’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood” at the office. I also remembered how I did not like Mr. Roger’s Neighborhood when I was a kid. Thanks, Liz.
You’re welcome, Tim. Mr. Rogers was after my childhood time. I vaguely remember mockery from the kids who were prone to that sort of thing.
oh the sky with the moon is exquisite, Tim❣️
Thanks, Cindy.
I always enjoy your photos, and look forward to all the cats and what they are doing. The clouds, what you said was hound and fox I just thought it was a flying pig jumping up, I did see the kitty though. thanks for circling and naming them. 🙂
Thanks, Barbara.
You’re welcome. 🙂
I didn’t find everything you saw. You are very observant. Great skies 👌
Thanks, Robbie.
💜
Hey Tim I saw most of them but saw a goldfish instead of the kitty. Super clouds btw
Thanks, Julie.
