  1. Your sunrises and sunsets are so beautiful. Then add some owls and other birds. Makes for a lovely walk. But then a moon capture before bed. Nice!

  2. I really enjoyed this gallery of birds and scenes, Timothy. How fortunate for you to get the hepatic tanager. Lovely to see these crisp river landscapes, Wilson’s warblers and other birds, of course the owlet…and the moonshot is truly exquisite.

  3. From the pictures I would.agree it is an Eastern BB. Merlin is not always correct, but I dont see the chestnut going to the back as on Western BB. I had to go look at their regions and it you would be on the edge of their population. Nice Wilson’s Warbler. Not the easiest to photograph as they like to be low in the brush. I always tell Linda they have a bad toupee.

    • I got a clearer shot of the EBB this morning. That Wilson’s Warbler wouldn’t hold still. Not only does it like brush, it’s super hyperactive. A Cooper’s Hawk was pestering the Lone Owl this morning. Mama and Daddy Owl got involved in that ruckus, and then Daddy brought Mama and the Lone Owlet a gopher for breakfast. Thanks, Brian.

  4. A tale of two owlets whose paths divereged. Sorry to hear the Cooper’s hawk is pestering lone owlet an Mama Owl.. The photos of the birds are beautiful, better than many field guides.

    • Thanks, Lavinia. Cooper’s Hawks are the brightest when it comes to pesting GHOs.
