Sun rising

The Village is installing a fire suppression system. The orange barrels are guarding a new fire hydrant.

While the Village crew worked on waterlines, I hauled loads of household goods to Thrift Town, and then moved a solid oak table I built when I was 15 years old and a freezer to our house. The women at Thrift Town were gaga over Jake. He loved the attention.
You will sleep well tonight.
I did. Thanks, Brad.
Doesn’t Jake have fan club members everywhere?
We would probably get in trouble with a Fans Only website. Thanks, Shey.
Lovely views of the locale, Tim! Glad Jake had his bit of fuss!
He does look nicely appreciative.
I think I’ve fell for him, with what Tim tells us, he’s a gem! ♥
He is indeed.
A fine array of pets, indeed. X
Yeah, the cas are something too.
All seem so special and happy. 😺
Ken aye. As we say here. Timothy and Laurie must be the best owners.
I makes you want to be a cat, doesn’t it? I love the animals from a distance. 💟
Yeah. Certainly I’d want to be a their cat. I am actually badly allergic to cats, so I have to like them from a huge distance. .
What a shame! Tim keeps us supplied, bless him.
Also a shame, we are not allowed pets in these flats. I think I can have a budgie or Goldfish? Hehehe!
Well I daresay that some people may be very fond of heir budgies and their goldfishes….. Yeah I can tell you if you a cat by simply stepping in a room, no matter how big a room or small a cat.
One of my ex’s was the same, lassie.
Her eyes would run, and she got very nervous, and seemed out of breath.
Point just came back into mind, about my Cyril. As I was pushing the motorbike up the vennel, getting home in the dark, he’d jump up on my face and purr me to death! His way of telling me he was hungry I guess? Hehe! Didn’t half make me jump, him being all black, Haha! I do miss him, so.
TTFNski, Keep yer sel safe.
Eh do.. . i rana private biz for a long while teaching music and drama and the kids were like …who is this woman? when they’d come in and I’d say to certain ones, ‘ You have a cat.’ There was never any trouble with any of them. LOL. They thought i could see everything they did.
Hehehe! I bet some of them got puzzled. Haha!
It kept them in about……
Re: allergic dermatitis, treatment. I just looked it up on the NHS site. Topical corticosteroid. Then realised I’m using this for my ankle ulcers. I can’t see the connection with cats and my ankle? Another mystery?
I hope you have a catless day, gal!
Perhaps a ghost cat rubs agaisnt your ankles…. ?
Ghost cats have been know to do that.
I never thought of that, Good one!
Aye well…think of it now.
So much peemail, so little time. Thanks, Shey.
Thanks, Inchy.
👍
Nice table. Very nice truck.
It’s a cool old truck, four on the floor with a “Granny Gear!” Thanks, DR.
I understand the four on the floor part, but is the granny gear a transfer case? Low gear?
First gear is a low gear for hard pulls. We call it the Granny Gear because you can’t go very fast in it. It’s like a tractor. The truck effectively has three on the floor.
Ha. You assume I have ever seen a tractor. Thats funny. Im a city boy!
.
Do you still ise first jn normal street driving? Or do you just start in 2nd?
I start out in second gear. Too bad you’ve never driven a tractor. I drove a tractor when I was six. There was a photo of me driving the tractor when I was six, but I don’t know where it is. I learned to drive our 3-on-the-tree Rambler when I was 7, then started riding motorcycles at 9.
Jake is a superstar!😊
“Jakey Price Stuperstar! Who are you? What do you think you are?” He thinks he’s people. Thanks, Becky!
You seem to keep very active Tim, kudos.
Give Mr. Jake a pat for me, please!
He appreciated it. Thanks, Liz.
You’re welcome, Tim. 😊
I bet that solid oak table was heavy! Looks beautiful, Tim! Jake is certainly enjoying all the attention, too.
It’s a heavy table. I could handle it easily when I was younger. I really feel its weight now. Thanks, Lavinia.
I can’t believe you were building tables at that age. I love the way the trees look in the background in that one shot, Tim. We have lost a lot of big trees this year. With snow, ice, and rain, the gust of wind just took several 50-plus-high trees up by the roots. I hate to see that. It sounds like your buddy goes with you everywhere, that is really nice.
I was building all kinds of stuff when I was 15. I was lucky enough to work for an artisan woodworker. Thanks, Joni
Jake is a real about town ladies’ dog. He is a cutie.
Hey, is that Jake’s fire hydrant?
Neat shots, and that table still looks solid. Good work!,Tim
That’s Jake’s fire hydrant. I took him into the bank when I deposited some checks. The bank girls were all over him. Thanks, Resa.
Busy, busy, busy Tim! Will be heading in your direction at the end of the week..will be skipping that other NM city that you already know my opinion of.
You should hop on westbond I-40 and stop by for a visit. Thanks, Brian.
