I agree. Clicked it with my best shot, which wasn’t a great shot because I was shooting through wire and roses, so it was soft focus on the stealthy little blueli birdy. Thanks, Marina.
The THT was looking good. Bunting hunting is brutal. The little thing is really hard to find. I ended up with soft focus shooting through the wire and rose bushes, because it would have flown off before I could get a really clear shot. Thanks, Dale.
Wow, saw that Bunting and thought Lazuli and sure enough that is what the label said – I have only seen that Bunting once in my life at the Red Rock Ampitheatre. I can mail you a box if you could sent that specimen back to me.
Boxing up that blue boy would be next to impossible. They hard hard to see. We’ve recorded the Yellow Warbler, but not seen hide nor feather of that little dude. Thanks, Brian.
Great shot to take… [and the only way to shoot a bird!] and beautiful TimKu.
Happy Monday!
I agree! The only way to shoot a bird should be with a camera.
Thanks, Liz.
You’re welcome, Tim.
Yes!!!

I think it was [great!].
Instantly recognisable in my reader today as your wonderful blog.
Thanks, Shey.
What a beauty, Tim! Congrats on shooting that bunting that you were hunting!
Tangle Heart looks particularly beautiful at dusk.

It is. And ya done good! Butning is lovely!
Good find Tim! I liked the sky photos at days end.
Thanks, Brad. Those little beasts are boogers to see. They constantly sing without being seen. Thanks, Brad.
Good hunting Tim!
Thanks, Brad.
These sky scapes indicate the kind of weather we are enjoying for a couple of days….Crystal clear and beautiful 🙂
Thanks, Janet. That sounds like a nice change for you.
Yes:)
I always love Holly’s tree! Beautiful bird, and sky, Tim💕
Thanks, Cindy.
That’s a new one to me. What a pretty bird!
Was new to us, also. Thanks, Rebecca.
You get some beautiful bird visitors along with those painted skies, Tim. I can’t remember if you have cardinals down there or not.
No cardinals that I have seen. Thanks, Lavinia.
Loud Lazuli Bunting hunting shots are great. So difficult to get, you did do well with them, Sir!
Thanks, Inchie. Mr Blueli is a stealthy one.
Fantastic photos!
Thanks, Dawn.
Unexpectedly
And delightful
Another superb TimKu
Thanks, abvr.

Gorgeous Tangle-Heart shot! I grabbed it and another one earlier!
Happy you snagged it. Thanks, Resa.
