Thanks, Jane. I find it a strange cemetery because there are so many unmarked graves other than a pile of stones, a mount of dirt, a concrete slab, a rock or cement outline.
The unmarked graves, they’re either pioneer graves or graves the family couldn’t afford a marker. In the small town I grew up in, after the year in Arkansas, the cemetery was mostly pioneer graves. Sometimes they were recorded, most times, they weren’t.
I thought so too. It must be the fading light. Kinda bestows that “unsettled” quality in which you don’t want to be here when there’s less light. A cemetery at twilight is more eerie than a cemetery at night.
What a stunning photo. The cemetery is akin to a ghost town – which is kinda ironic, now that I mention it.
I forgot it was the Super Sturgeon moon. I love your image.
Thanks, Geoff. I pulled this comment out of spam, also. Can’t figure out how it thinks a follower who has commented for a while is all of a sudden spam. It does it quite a bit.
If you don’t mind, could you please head over to that cemetery after dark and round up any undead that are hanging about and send them my way – I need more props that that would help tremendously.
Dramatic landscapes, Timothy. The cemetery is especially striking.

The grave yard only about 100 years old. Thanks, Danzig.

Stunning cemetery photo and deep thoughts. Fun to see the Supermoon rising.
Thanks, Rebecca.
Spooky sturgeon moon.
Thanks, Cheyenne.
This is going to be a good month – a blue supermoon month.
Once in a blue supermoon. Thanks, Danzig.
The cemetary is….. arresting.
It is. Thanks, Cindy.
That cemetery is from another world . What a picture.
Oh! Many that explains it. Thanks, Shey.
Lol. You’re welcome.
So many thoughts arise from the cemetery photograph.
Indeed. And ghosts. Thanks, Janet.

I would say cemeteries are original ghost towns. There’s a blue moon at the end of the month. Thanks, Dale.
They are, aren’t they?
I was born on a blue moon 🙂
Unless you are born again, you are once in a blue moon. That is so cool.
Haha! Love that, Tim. Thank you 😊
I was moved by the image of the cemetary and its accompanying Timku.
Thanks, Liz.
You’re welcome, Tim.
Purple skies , beautiful!
Thanks, Holly.
Amazing photo and haiku about the unknown and unnamed. So very well said
Thanks, JYP.
Wow… the cemetery with that sky! I loved seeing the supermoon!
Thanks once again for your incredible images!
You are welcome, Nancy.
That was a moving TimKu and photo, Tim and the Sturgeon Supermoon is the cherry!
Beautiful, and I love your caption for the cemetery, perfect.
Thanks, Tiffany.
Amazing sky photo, and thanks for posting the sturgeon super moon!!! 🌕
You are welcome. I posted another full moon. Three in a row from July 31st through Aug 2nd. Thanks, Samantha.
Magic….as usual!!!!

I love your cemetery shots and great haiku Tim!!
That is a great poem to go with the cemetery, Tim. I did see the supermoon up here. It was beautiful.
Thanks, Lavinia. I mostly saw the supermoon through the clouds. No rain, however.
Egads!!! That first shot should be the opening shot of a zombie movie. They are all in their buried caskets, trying to break out….. and they DO!!!!!
Especially the unamed and forgotton who are unsettled. Thanks, Resa.
Yes! Best zombies ever. This graveyard is a bit sparse, but many make me think of men on a chessboard, like it’s a dark game.
Spunk’s been leaving his ears and tail around to protect us from zombies.
If that doesn’t work, just take Spunkie – Poo’s 💋 collar off! That should keep the zombies at bay!
He’s been asking to drink from the faucit to refill his pee shooter. He’s ready for them Zombies.
Lololol!!!!!

Will have a talk with them. A vacation away from the dry desert would be most welcome I’m sure. Thanks, Brian.
