I remember my bicycle ride in Spaain in 2000, at a certain moment a fellow cyclist fell down on the road and in short time vultures were circling around in the sky …..
Hi Teri. I fixed the question so it makes sense now.
Fun post! I love the video, and got quite the chuckle on the credits! Hahaha!
Flamenco is so great.
Do they only scavenge turkeys? They are actually an interesting looking bird.
Hi Resa. They are called turkey vultures because they look like turkeys. They mostly scavenge, but they will kill and eat newborn and very young livestock. Some farmers lose quite a bit of livestock to vultures, and since vultures are protected, the farmers can’t kill the vultures to reduce the number of vultures attacking their livestock.
Fun post 🙂 The flamenco guitar was an unexpected pleasure.
Thanks, Susan!

Bello
Awesome! Nice flamenco guitar too!
Thanks, Tiffany.
I always wonder what they are circling over…
You think they are circling the bathing spots? Could be. Thanks, Teri.

That’s interesting! Are the vultures an endangered species?
Well there’s something we don’t see in Australia. Thanks for posting the video.
You don’t have Vultures?
Nope…..we have wedge-tailed eagles but they are quite rare plus a few hawks which are carrion eaters.
Excellent wildlife photography!
Thanks, Marisa!
I love the video of the vultures bathing. Is that you playing the flamenco guitar?
Hi Lavinia. Yes that’s me playing. It’s one of my original compositions of alegrÃas.
Very nice! Enjoyed the music!
Happy you liked it. Thanks, Lavinia!
