Last weekend was the Festival of the Cranes at Bosque del Apache National Wildlife Refuge, about a 100 miles south of Albuquerque… http://photos.tandlphotos.com/blog/2016/11/cows-cranes

Tim, great photos. I love the last one with the cow looking right at you. Happy Friday! ~ Mia
Thanks, Mia. She was a curious cow and sauntered over to see what the crazy paparazzo was up to.
You’re welcome Tim.
Ciao Timothy buon weekend 🙂
Grazie, Simona. Have a wonderful weekend.
Amazing pictures! I have seen a crane only once.
Thanks, Inese. They are interesting birds.
Yes, and so beautiful. We have herons here, but they are just funny 🙂
We have a few great blue herons. They look small compared to the cranes until they fly. The herons have huge wingspans.
Yes, that’s true. When they stretch their necks their body looks quite long too.
Great photos!
Thanks, Kendall!
Welcome Timothy!
So cool, I want to see a festival of the cranes too! 🙂
You are going to have to make plans to visit New Mexico. Thanks, Sara!
I would love someday!
You could start a Go fund Me campaign for travel expenses, and give people who donate to it photos of you with the cranes, and photos of you in other places in New Mexico. We have a lot of really picturesque places in NM. You could make a photo book of your adventures as well.
The cows blended in well 🙂 Great pictures!
Thanks, Tiny!
Very interesting but looks like the cows could care less 😉
Cows don’t care about much of anything but themselves. They would really get in the way of everything if they had cow phones and selfie sticks.
🙂
