Beautiful garden Timothy. We have a Cooper’s Hawk that likes to occasional land on our wooden fence too. 🙂
When we had a couple of old trees that covered the deck, a cooper’s hawk used to dive into the bamboo, grab a bird and then sit on a branch in the tree and join us for dinner.
How very civilized of the hawk, to dine with you! 🙂
It was lovely having it up on a branch a few feet above us tearing up the bird and eating while we ate our dinner.
