When we left early in the morning there was a mist that gave the trees a ghostly look. As we headed out to Paradise Hills, the mist turned into a thick fog, which is quite rare for the Albuquerque area. When we got to Paradise Hills, a couple hundred feet above the Rio Grande Valley, the sun was making its first appearance above the fog blanketed the valley below.

Love these photos.
Thanks!
Wow heavy fog, beautiful pics..
Thanks, Leyla!
I’m into season 4 of Breaking Bad. I thought the weather was always sunny in the Albuquerque area, according to the tv show… 😉
I’m sure the Breaking Bad cast and crew never saw a foggy morning the five or so years they filmed in Albuquerque. Heavy fog is very rare in the Albuquerque area, and doesn’t last long once the sun coms up.
These are great – thanks for photographing it. (I slept through it 😦 )
I’m not sure how thick the fog was where you are. But you would have seen it blanketing the valley.
Beautiful photos, Tim. I really love foggy days like that. Don’t know why, but I guess it’s because of the suspense hanging around… 😉
Thanks! Fog makes for interesting photos. It is mysterious and suspenseful. Especially since we don’t see much fog around here.
We had a foggy day last Friday and it looked great! I took a picture out of the roofwindow. The picture looked a bit Japanese with the blooming tree…
Too bad I can’t put the photo in this comment… 😉
Put the photo as an entry on your blog.
Do you think it’s that good?
Well, I will look into it… 😉
I do like these shots, especially the one with the red traffic lights. Thanks for posting them 🙂
Thanks!
