Trees in the Mist

DSCF9515

When we left early in the morning there was a mist that gave the trees a ghostly look. As we headed out to Paradise Hills, the mist turned into a thick fog, which is quite rare for the Albuquerque area. When we got to Paradise Hills, a couple hundred feet above the Rio Grande Valley, the sun was making its first appearance above the fog blanketed the valley below.

  1. I’m into season 4 of Breaking Bad. I thought the weather was always sunny in the Albuquerque area, according to the tv show… 😉

    • I’m sure the Breaking Bad cast and crew never saw a foggy morning the five or so years they filmed in Albuquerque. Heavy fog is very rare in the Albuquerque area, and doesn’t last long once the sun coms up.

  2. Beautiful photos, Tim. I really love foggy days like that. Don’t know why, but I guess it’s because of the suspense hanging around… 😉
