  1. Wow, the crows in that first shot are pretty impressive! I’m surprised the cranes are sparse there so far. Yesterday we went to the Open Space, and there were a fair number of cranes (off in the distance). Then we went to the Rio Grande Nature Center, where I do not recall seeing cranes before, and several groups flew in and landed just out of sight at the Candelaria Wetlands area (we could certainly hear them after they landed; we just couldn’t see them). I hope the cranes show up in large numbers in your area again, because I look forward to your pics of them!!

    • Old world wheat, new world corn. Great observation, Rebecca. I wish I could say I was thinking about Van Gogh when I did the photos, but he didn’t even cross my mind.

      • LOL I often hear that when I delve in the world of art both with writing, painting, and photography. It seems I am always looking for a deeper meaning that isn’t there. shhh don’t tell people that that wasn’t your intention. 😉
