Feeding Cow Cats

Dawn

The above video is of Laurie, the cat herder, doing her daily routine of feeding the cow cats their grass (there is music with the video).

Mallard Ducks being silly gooses.

Our baby, volunteer, cottonwood.

Walter looked grumpy, and Willa was half asleep in the morning sun.

Nora Owl look positively happy this morning. She was half-asleep with one eye closed. She must have had a good TGIF owl night out with Osric last night. I think she wore out Osric. He was nowhere to be seen.

Dandelion blossoms

It was cloudy and raining most of the afternoon into the evening.

Conjunction? Not!

Behind all those clouds Jupiter and Venus were conjoining. It’s supposed to be clear on Friday morning for the second conjunction of Jupiter and Venus.

Since I couldn’t see the conjunction, I was hoping for a colorful sunrise, but no such luck.

While it might look like Daisy Duck was gabbing to Donald Duck, she was chasing insects.

A very large wasp ran up to me and then turned and retreated when I moved my foot.

Daisy and Donald kept flying by us and landing ahead of us.

Mama Owl, Tres Wowlets, and Daddy Owl.

Donald and Daisy otra vez.

Clouds over Resa’s, Tiffany’s, and Gigi’s trees in the late afternoon.

Bottoms Up!

The Mallards are happy to have water in the clearwater ditch again.

Taking flight.

Jake was having a ball running and shaking on the beach.

The Sandias from the beach. Clouds over the Rio Grande. Beaver Dam in the clearwater ditch

Cranes grazing in the orchard.

Ducks In A Row

The conservancy is let more water into the Rio Grande from upstream. That has brought the water level up in the Clearwater ditch. the black speckles in the sky are crows flying on the crow highway that follows the Rio Grande.

The ducks are happy to be in the clearwater ditch again.

Burning through the sky.
