100% full August Sturgeon moon this morning.

Moon in dog

Cottonwood cemetery at twilight under the full moon

Lost soles, and a little more bared than feet?

Spunk has become my personal trainer and taskmaster.

This is how it’s done, pathetic, weakling, weeny paparazzo

Come on, you wicked, weeny, whimpy weightlifter! Add more weight! Do more reps! Do more sets! Push through it until it burns and you feel like you’re going to puke!

I have my eye on you, you lazy lackey. Even though you are lying on the bench press, there is no rest for whimpy, wicked, weeny paparazzi!

I’m going to make you press until you puke! You pectorally challenged, pathetic, catatonic paparazzo Puke!

You can’t get up. Do more reps. Do more sets! I’m going to hold you down until you press and puke.

Loki doing his kitty Tai chi streches.

Bromeliad that Laurie got to bloom again. Quite an accomplishment in our dry climate.

Catatonic kitty! The poor, pesky, pathetic excuse of a puke paparazzo wore out the taskmaster.

Jake and I went out for a short walk between light rain showers tonight.

That was fun, Tim, watching Spunkie-Poo 💋 task master you.
He really looks adorable bossing you around.
Wow, that is one splendid moon! Thanks for the pics, Tim!
You’re welcome, Resa. Spunk shows no mercy when it comes to being a personal trainer/taskmaster. He wants to see results. Jake and I have been walking five miles every morning before sunrise. I walk much faster than poor Jake likes to walk, so I’m constantly dragging him along. He is worn out when we get back home. I’ve been thinking I need to do a parody of “Dragging The Line” called “Dragging The Dog.”
So, are the muscles becoming enlarged?
Lol… Poor Jake… Draggin’ the Dog.. You do great parodies. Go for it! xx
Laurie says, “Yes!” to the muscles question. Poor Jake. We averaged 16 minutes 44 seconds per mile over 5.26 miles this morning. He didn’t get up to beg for bits of my breakfast later.
Alright! Spunkie-Poo’s 💋 harsh training tactics are paying off!
Ohhh, poor Jake!
Maybe you should… walk slower?
He can easily walk my speed. He’s just lazy and a bit of a drama queen.
Hahahaha!
I need to borrow Spunk for off season training!!! The skies would be an excellent setting for our haunted trail nights.
Spunk would keep you in off-season shape. Those were perfect haunt skies. Thanks, Brian.
Spunk is quite a taskmaster. But it all caught up with him! Fun post Tim. 😄
Thanks, Miriam. He wore himself out trying to get il paparazzi to tow the line.
From darkened skies to bossy cats, brilliant pics.
Spunk is trying to get me in shape. Thanks, Shey.
Spunk has that look !
And he’s always lookin’ for trouble.
No doubt about it… Spunk is the perfect taskmaster!
He’s brutal. Thanks, Herman.
I love the dreamy moon photos. Mr. Spunk sure is full of himself today!
He’s just trying to get il paparazzo in shape. Thanks, Liz.
I’ll give him credit for tough love. You’re welcome, Tim.
Good for you to have Spunk keep you on track!
He doesn’t give me any slack. Thanks, Tiffany.
I love your photos and sense of humor!
Thanks, Dawn.
Beautiful moon and night skies Tim. And thanks for the laughs and fun commentary.
You’re welcome, Bard. Always happy to give you a laugh.
Spunk too. 😊
Of course. Spunk’s the comedian.
Ah. We sit in our back yard (about 300 miles east of you) and watch the moon and stars emerge. We have similar scenes of full moon and clouds. Your photos are excellent as always. Spunk suits his job as trainer quite well. I think he meant every word he said! (sorry if I got the gender wrong). One of Spunk’s distant relatives, who looks very much like Spunk, is a neighborhood feral. Sleeps on a table on our front porch most nights. But our two dogs don’t take very kindly to him when he pops into the fenced back yard to catch a dove (or lizard) for dinner! ~Ed.
It’s nice to sit in the yard and watch the moon and stars. Spunk is a wild one. He’s always giving il paparazzi a rough kitty tongue lashing for one thing or another. I hope your feral Spunk kitty fares well. Thanks, Ed.
Yeah. Thank you. Our local wild Spunk-alike is mostly harmless – and useful for keeping the rodent population at bay.
Love the moon shots – gorgeous colours!
As for Spunk – man oh man, he is a tough taskmaster, for sure!
All the photos are lovely but the moon ones are spectacular.
Hahaha! Tim, this is hysterical. Plus, that first pic of Spunk… his expression looks like he might have seen the bare bears who lost those clothes. (Although at the same time, that’s kind of a freaky, Night of the Comet photo scenario.) Hugs to you and yours.
The bare feet were strange because that is a very public place to take off (change?) and leave clothing like that. Spunk is such a silly cat. Thanks, Teagan.
You’ve been busy between all of your photos and lifting.. good think Spunk is such a good trainer.. lol 😂
Spunk gives me no slack. Just a smack when I’m not working hard enough. Thanks, Cindy.
Hahahaaha. He keeps you honest.. 💕
That…was fabulous. Sky is always amazing and I love the cats, even if you do wear them out now and then.
Thanks, Gigi. Spunk was in good form.
Epic moonshots
Thanks, Geoff.
I think Spunk makes an awesome personal
trainer … handsome too!
He was making me work out, or should I say, Spunkout hard again this morning. Thanks, Julie.
