Vato Kitty is convalescing at Laurie’s parents’ house after sustaining some serious wounds from fighting.

I showed some riders how to get to the river bed on their horses.

Jake trying to catch a little shade.

“Hey, Paparazzo! What did you do with that roadrunner you shot yesterday?”
“Look out! He’s Right behind you!”

“Talk to the tail! Stupid paparazzo!”

Dragon Tree

The shot with the three cranes against the orange sky is stunning
Thanks, Robbie.
I hope your kitty recovers ASAP!
He’s doing well. Thanks, Leenda.
Very happy to read that!
Vato is a super sweet, loving kitty.,
Lot’s of action here and Wiley’s a bit late but at least he didn’t try to chase Jake. I had a baby chase Duke and I yesterday and then pooped in the road and kept after us.. I was getting nervous since he didn’t let down for a long while even with my yelling.. 🥹
That’s strange coyote behavior if you have a big dog. Might have been rabid. Thanks, Cindy.
I thought so too too! I wondered if he thought Duke was his mother!
That could be if it was simply following. Like the children’s book, “Are You My Mother?”
I know, that’s what it kind of felt like. The fact that he pooped in front of us and continued forward.. It was black which was weird as I’m used to seeing scat. I wish I could have been braver but then again, I didn’t want any altercations. Duke didn’t even bark. weird.
Wow. Some absolutely beautiful shots here and I do like the wild life!
I know you like the wild life. And a wild life. Thanks, Shey.
Love it !!!! Cos I do. Thank YOU Timothy.
Fun times on the river. How far is it from your house Tim? Love the three crane image.
Thanks, Brad.
Many thanks time for sharing your world through those wonderful photographs. I hope Vato Kitty is healing well — from the looks of him/her, he/she seems ready for the next fight already! Very brave indeed.
Vato is masculine. I don’t think there is a Vata. He’s a tough kitty, but he’s super sweet and loving. Thanks, Rebecca.
I don’t know why, but the scene with Jake in the shade reminded me of Georgia O’Keefe.
Georgia O’Keeffe’s ranch and house are 100 miles directly north of us. I get the connection. Thanks, Liz.
Interesting! You’re welcome, Tim.
Hope Kitty is doing better. He looks better already.
The lacy trees get me every time and Jake catching some shade… too cute!
El Vato is doing well. But he still has some large wounds by his tail that need to heal. I love the black lace trees. Thanks, Nancy
Dang it, you make it hard to pick a favourite, Tim. But Jake wins!
Jake thanks you. Thanks, Inchy.
Ah, bless him. 🐕 🐕💟
That is a beautiful slice of life in the bosque, Tim.
I hope Vato Kitty recovers quickly.
Vato is doing well. Thanks, Lavinia.
WOW – The Dragon Tree! That’s fantastic, Tim.
It’s a cool tree. Thanks, Resa.
Is it on your property?
