Twilight
His shadow waned with the moon
As Sasquatch surveyed changes from yesterday’s yawn
He pitied the sorry state of the scoop shovel
Alone and cold on unscoopable sand, cursed by old Jack Frost
A portal opened, and he walked through to the other side
To his land unknown by humans stuck in 3D
Leaving the scoop shovel to its fate
Meanwhile, Osric courted Nora
Hooting sweet nothings in her feathery ear
Time to work on this year’s brood
Love at twilight. Dawn blushed!

Marble: “Can I lick sweet nothings in your ear, Spunk?”

Black laced trees under a wintery sky

Through the looking glass, Sasha dreams of going down a rabbit hole

Light snow falls on the Sandias at dusk

Cool photos.
Thanks, Brad.
Beautiful pic Tim 🥰
Thanks, Gabriela.
The photos of Osric Owl courting Nora Owl are a good sign of more owlets this spring.
Tim, thank you for your wonderful words and pic. We did not talk in a long time about Nora and her owlets. It’s been so good to see those picture. I work too much. I should stop a bit and get in touch with the people I like and respect.
I love the owlets 🥰
I understand. I’ve been very bad about keeping up with people.
You were not with me and I thank you from my heart ❤️
A beautiful assortment of photos, Tim, especially the cats and owls. I am looking forward to this years owlets. That is a very nice photo of Marble cleaning Spunk.
I hope the owls nest where we can see them. Thanks, Lavinia.
First snow of the season up here today. It won’t last, but was just enough to make things slippery.
We got 9/100 of an inch of rain this evening. We might get snow by morning.
And wowls. Sounding it for the wowls.
The love birds were adorable. Like Wowl! Thanks, Shey.
More to love here, Tim. Thanks! xx
You’re welcome, Cindy.
Everyone a masterpiece. Wonderful. I’ll show them Ejaz in the morning. Cheers.
Thanks for the great compliment, Inchy.
Wonderful photos, Tim. It’s snowing in our area now — high desert of AZ.
Thanks, Gwen. We’re having rain mixed with sleety hail.
I love all the twilight photos. That scoop shovel does look pretty chewed-up!
Thanks, Liz.
Wow, wonderful photographs. The one where it looks like a tunnel through the trees is amazing. I love the cats, the birds and the gorgeous sky. Wow. Fabulous post.
Thanks, Gigi. The portal is kind of scary at twilight.
And so ends this story of Sasquatch… for now.
I love the paintings – I mean, photos. Gorgeous. The shovel, the portal… just gorgeous.
And yay! The owls are a-courting!
