He thought he might be in trouble. Jake’s been having a rough time these past few days. Monday, a rogue sunflower grabbed him and wouldn’t let go. I thought Jake was dying by the way he was howling and crying. I finally got the beast of a sunflower off his paw. He won’t walk on that path now. Laurie said she heard him scuffling around, and Belafonte was on Jake’s back attacking him. Between Spunk, killer sunflowers, and Belafonte, Jake is feeling persecuted. Thanks, Shey.
Jake seemed more scared of Spunk’s mad dogs than mad about them. Poor Jake has been feeling like a persecuted pup this week. Spunk’s been giving him mad dogs, a killer sunflower grabbed his paw and refused to let go, and Belafonte attacked him. Thanks, Lavinia.
We went out at daybreak to let the irrigation water in. Jake got all wet from the dew on the tall grasses, and trying to grab sicks in the water. After I got all the leaves raked out of the water in the ditches, we walked to the river and saw ducks in the mist. It was a cool 48º, and Jake was really happy to be out romping around and peeing on tumbleweeds at dawn.
Jake does look a little iffy about the situation!
For sure. Thanks, Couriers.
Too cute! Jake loves his kitties, right?
He ignores the kitties as mauch as her can. Thanks,, Nancy.
That’s some expression on Jake’s face!
It is. Thanks, Liz.
You’re welcome, Tim.
Yes, well, Jake…. [what a look!]
He has the expressions. Thanks, Marina.
Hahaha… that’s exactly what Jake looks like he would say. Thanks for the chuckle, Tim.
Woo-hoo! It’s really raining here right now. Hugs.
Thanks, Teagan. It’s raining hard north of us. Hopefully, some of it will get here.
My enthusiasm was short lived. Now I see that the leak from the water heaters roof vent was not a fluke. Onward.
The sunshine and ozone deteriorate the material used to patch the vents. The material cracks, and you get leaks.
There is no denying the sink eye stare here Tim!
🤣
Thanks, Cindy.
🙌🏽🙌
I never saw Jake look this riled…….

Aw no. Poor Jake. He is such a darling but his jaw looks quivery. Hope he gets past all this.
He recovers quickly with a little T&A (treats and attention).
I am glad to hear it.
That is a “mad” expression on Jake’s face! His eyes are very expressive, and you catch him in some interesting moods.

Poor Jake!
He’s recovered. I’m irrigating this moring, and Jake’s already all wet. It was 48º when I let the water in at 6:30.
LOL! Is Jake unhappy with Spunkie-Poo 💋?
Simply intimidated. Jake’s been feeling persecuted by Spunk’s mad dogs, and being attacked by killer sunflowers and Belafonte. Thanks, Resa.
Gee, Jake is under attack! He is so adorable.

Wow! What a fabulous morning for Jake. All the dog things they love to do, topped off with a few great tumblepeeds!
When we go out for a walk to the river, Jake is like a kid in a candy store, watering all the tumbleweeds.
LOL! Love it!
Oh Jake what’s up fella? He sure doesn’t look happy …
He’s been brow beaten by Spunk and Belafonte. Thanks, Julie.
