I’ve never seen a closeup of a baby dove before. I used to have 6 mature desert willow trees in the back yard. (Something killed them. People said they looked like they had been burned.) The doves loved those trees. After they all died, it was easy to see the doves still perching there throughout the day. In 3 of the trees, I counted 27 doves.
That blue sky is breathtaking. Hugs.
That is a beautiful selection of photos, Tim. Should be some owls, too, before too long?
I haven’t haven’t checked on the owls, but I suspect the owlettes have hatched. Thanks, Lavinia.
Those dovelettes look almost wooden!
Resa’s tree is looking particularly festive with those loud mouths adorning it!
They seem to have lots to gossip about. Thanks, Dale.

I wish they were in my tree, but it sure looks fabulous, especially with all those red-wing black birds in it.
Thanks Tim! xx
