The little hummers seem to get struck by the scenes before them and they will just sit and ponder and attack any bird that comes near them. Vicious little things, those hummers are. Thanks, Brad.
Dear Timothy,
GREAT shots 🙏
We only know hummingbirds from the literature. Oh dear, we thought the minah birds in Huxley’s “Island” were hummingbirds but we just found out they are starlings.
Wishing you a happy weekend

Nice pics of the hummer – guessing there wasn’t any other hummers in the area (with exception of a possible mate), those little devils are extremely possessive of their space (and any feeders they claim). Like a war zone when we get a bunch at our feeders.
I only saw the one. That’s his tree. We don’t have feeders. They have to live off of the flowering plants and tiny insects on the roses and flowers. They are vicious little buggers. Thanks, Brian.

Evening benediction…
Thanks, Mary Jo.
Now I have the Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm song by the Canadian Group Crash Test Dummies… (gotta love Brad Roberts’ deep voice 😉 ) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eTeg1txDv8w
I can’t decide which photo I like best (though the backlit is pretty spectacular). The first and third photos, I’ve decided!
Hahaha! You got it. I was watching that video the other day. Do you remember this one: https://youtu.be/dU95v23MQ4c? Thanks, Dale.
Oh my god!! No! I hadn’t seen that one!! Too funny!
I love Al. Of course, these days you have to be old enough to remember the news stories.
He is great. Always on the ball. Of course, that is a fact!
Gotta hate it when Mr. Happy is missing.
It’s rather sad for sure. Thanks, Brian.
Beautiful images! Lovely little bird.
Thanks, Michele.
Fabulous:). We don’t have hummingbirds in the UK/Europe and so it’s always lovely to see them.
I know you are a big fan of hummingbirds with all your wonderful watercolors of them. Too bad you can watch them now. Thanks, Janet.
Lovely pictures of an avowed and loyal watcher
Thanks, abvr.
He’s got the best seat! TimKu and images to relish!
Thanks, Marina.
These are wonderful, particularly the second one, with the sky all aglow!
Thanks, Liz.
You’re welcome, Tim.
💙💙🐦
Thanks, Christine.
Fine feathers certainly making for a fine photo.
Thanks, Shey.
Rare to catch one sitting still. At least around here. Nicely done.

Beautiful peaceful scenes , love the little bird.
Thanks, Holly.
My pleasure !
They are flying jewels! The photos are beautiful, Tim. Sometimes they hover in front of the windows here, watching the cats watching them.
We hit 88 degrees yesterday. It is supposed to go back into the 60s tomorrow.
Thanks, Lavinia. They like to hover on the outside of the catio and tease the cats who are watching inside the catio.
Beautiful, Tim.
Thanks, Jeff.
Dear Timothy,

As tiny as hummingbirds are, they are mean little birds who attack birds much larger than they are. Thanks, Fab Four.
Love hummingbirds, Tim. I’ve actually seen some in my life. lol
Beautiful shots, thank you! x
They are fun little birds. Thanks, Resa.
(did you get my mail!)

a sweet little haiku bird with a necklace and gorgeous skies Tim! ❣️
Thanks, Cindy.
welcome Tim! ❣️
Our hummingbirds are migrating now. Just a few left. Nice seeing yours with that orange sky.
This one is the only one I’ve seen so far. He’s in the same spots everyday. Thanks, Nancy.
Great difficult shots there Tim! I could feel the heat and hear the bird!
Thanks, Inchcock.
He’s a beauty .. great shots Tim
Thanks, Julie.
