Beautiful photos, Tim, especially numbers 2 and 3. It looks like a long, lonely path anyway you look at it. Where were you? Reply
Lovely photos. Reminds me of my trip across country many moons ago. So many beautiful landscapes on the open roads. Reply
These roads are straight and in good repair. Many have lots of curves and not very good surfaces. Thanks, David. Reply
They are LONG long roads and tracks you have there… here you can’t go a few hundred yards before a bend.. LOL 🙂 Reply
It doesn’t take much to be in nowhere out here. I know you have to make some effort. Thanks, Resa. Reply

Those were going to and from Alamogordo. Thanks, Lavinia.
These shots (especially the tracks) sure show that vanishing point thing quite well!
Vanishing into nowhere. Thanks, Maj & Sher.
The last one reminds me of part of the stretch from Phx to Tucson. Great photos!
There are a lot of roads to nowhere in Arizona, also. Thanks, Michele.

There’s something about rail tracks like that. Lovely pics.
Rails are always so straight and in perspective. Thanks, Shey.
I know and they vanish wonderfully too.
Perfect example of two point perspective.
On the Road Again…

I particularly like the closeup of the mountains.
No, not “to nowhere”, but to joy! 😉
Thanks, Marina. Happy to give you some joy.
Oh, every day!
And I can hear that Talking Heads song now. We’re on the road to nowhere….
Thanks, Teri.
Gorgeous shots of wide open spaces!! Love that sky!

I love shots that go off into the unknown like this.
Beauty!
They have great perspective. Thanks, Dale.
They do!
You captured the feeling of freedom that comes from being on the road.
There is a freedom in the wide open like Born to be Wild and Easy Rider. Thanks, Rebecca.
At least your roads to nowhere are in better shape than ours in CO, and straighter.
These roads are straight and in good repair. Many have lots of curves and not very good surfaces. Thanks, David.
Pretty sure you fall off the flat earth if you make to the end of those paths!
I would think so. Thanks, Brian.

We have a lot of vast open spaces. We have bends as well. Thanks, Sue.
Sometime I just like nowhere. It’s peaceful.
