Hi Lavinia. Like other birds they migrate up and done the Rio Grande. I don’t see them much in winter and summer, but a lot of them flying through in spring and fall.
I commend you on that. They really are. My pleasure! Still can’t see any owlets?
That should have been “No time…” it’s too early in the morning.
I figured 😉
Great bird pictures. We don’t have vultures here. The big birds are the Sea Eagles, Red Kites and Marsh Harriers.
Thanks for sharing.
All the best. Happy Easter

By the way, we live in what it’s called “the Mecca of Birdwatching” at the coast of North Norfolk.
Thanks, Klaus. The vultures just pass through along with so many other birds following the Rio Grande from one one place to another. you all have posted beautiful bird photos.
Thanks a lot, dear Timothy.
Dina is out in the morning and late to watch our leucistic owl Luna. It hunts just a few step from our house daily.
All the best. Happy Easter 🐣🐣

How fun.
Interesting birds them Turkey Vultures – at a distance look graceful and intriguing .. up close they scare the crap out of ya ha! Nice pics.. reminds me of when I am running and look up to see the circling vultures .. think they are trying to tell me something.
What magnificent creatures, Tim. The tele cannot complete with your sky theatre. Every day around 5, I see hundreds of crows pass by my window on their way to meet up with about 6,000 crows at their roost in Burnaby. A few days ago, someone reminded me that I should be the “crow” I want to see in the world!!! “Collect shiny things! Hop happily down the street for no apparent reason! Scream loudly when you see your friends.” I can do this!!! This is now my call to action.
A nice bird post! We have a lot of turkey vultures here. They have quite a wingspan. Often see them cruising the thermals.

Beautiful view! Three different channels you tuned into! 😎🦉
Thanks, Linda.
Some spectacular shots here, especially the Turkey Vulture.
Thanks, Shey. They are beautiful birds in flight, but they are pretty ugly when they are on the ground.
Best tele / tv there is. Nature is the best brand! Amazing captures, my friend!!!
Thanks, Marina. I love watching the vultures. They float in the air.
They are beautiful to watch!
You’re right, who needs a TV if you have that on your doorstep.
Thanks, Couriers.
Turkey vultures are spectacular while in flight, aren’t they?
Seems to me you don’t need TV… You’ve got Nat Geo in your backyard!
To time or need for TV. The vultures are so beautiful in flight. Thanks, Dale.

I think they are asking you to die so they can make a meal out of your carcass. Thanks, Brian.

You have much in common with crows. Crows are beautiful, intelligent birds. I love their noise caws. Thanks, Rebecca.
Caw Caw Caw!!!
Wow, Daddy Owl looks like he’s wearing one of Henry the Eighth’s robes.
Hahaha, at least Mama Owl didn’t give you the 2 ears down treatment!
He’s been doing that lately. True on Mama Owl. I called her and got 1 ear tuft up on a cold windy day the other day. Thanks, Resa.
Daddy’s coat of many colours. He might be a biblical owl!
Beautiful pictures! Much better viewing than any other TV!
Turkey Vultures are great TV. Thanks, Leah.
Lovely connection with the neighbors, as always, Tim. I like that last photo with the “tufts up.”
Thanks, Jet.
You had the best ‘tv show’ outside! Very nice photos, congratulations!
It’s a great veiw. Thanks, Flo.
