Lola Limp

Lola has degenerative arthritis in her right paw. The bones got separated so the Vet splined Lola’s leg. We hope her bones will fuse back together with her paw stabilized by the splint. Lola feels so much better with the splint and she gets around really well it. I couldn’t resent writing a song for her.

Lola Limp

Music and Lyrics by Timothy Price
Vocals: AWB
Guitars: Timothy Price
Bass: Timothy Price
Percussion: Assembled by Timothy Price

Lola has a nasty limp
The doctor put her in a splint
It’s enough to make you shiver
Now she looks like she’s Long John Silver

Come on Come on
Do the Lola limp with me
Stiffen up one leg
Like a limb on a tree
Limp once forward
Un pasito adelante
Limp side right
Shake it make it kinda funky
Limp once backward
un pasito a la trรกs
Limp side left
Lola limp is like a box

  1. Glad Lola is feeling better! You seemed to be having a lot of fun with this one (well, I know you have fun with all of them)… ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Thanks, John. Lola ws really sad. She was really cranky, as you might imagine, before the splint.

    • Thanks, Cindy. I played several different guitars before I came up with the sounds I liked for this song.

  2. Glad to see Lola is feeling better. Wishing her all the best and a good recovery. Thank goodness the AWB are thinking about that sweet girl.
The song could be on the ‘Big Lebowski’ soundtrack, one of my favourite movies.

  3. Such fantastic song and staggering dance. Although poor Lola didn’t seem too impressed, I AM impressed ๐Ÿ‘

  4. OMG, LOL, that was awesome, Tim!!! Very clever, and funny, despite poor Lola having to look like Long John Silver! I hope she heals quickly and can get rid of the splint soon. My cat has always favored one paw, wonder if that is a fairly common ailment?

    • Thanks, Tiffany. I don’t know how common it is, but if your kitty favors ar paw it could be artritis.

  5. Fantastic! Love the song, the video and your sweet Lola!
Mostly I adore how much you care for her, and all your cats. Right on!
