I’ve recorded them as well. Isn’t that a neat sound they share as they fly? I wish I knew what they were conveying to one another. Reply
They are probably saying something like “¡Venga! ¡Venga! ¡Venga! Come on! Keep it going!” Thanks, Dawn. Reply
I suppose some speak bird in Spanish, after all, it is believed by some observers that whales even have sub-dialects, so, who really knows? : )
Nice photos and video. I so enjoy watching and hearing the Sandhill Cranes. Hopefully we will be seeing them here before too long. Reply

Good to see the cranes. Looks like they had some perfect flying weather!
Clear and cold. It’s been down in the mid teens in the mornings. 40’s to 50 during the day.
Wonderful.
I like how the cranes fly in their formations.
It’s fun to watch them break up and regroup, as well. Thanks, Rabirius.
Cool!
Thanks, Tiffany.
Niiice! The Canada Geese fly in a V, as well. That I have seen, but not Cranes.
We get geese V’s also. Thanks, Resa.
