Fascinating light there, which really made some traits of the cranes stand out. I just wanted to soar with them – with a very warm coat, of course. 🙂
I love the light through the wings. So beautiful against the blue sky! I’m catching up on your blog. Sorry for all the comments but I can’t help myself ! 🙂 You have such beautiful scenes like I do they are so healing to me and peaceful 🙂

Thanks, Susan. The few that are still around are soaring a lot, I assume in preparation for their long flight north.
The cranes are gorgeous birds! The lighting is interesting. I think the sun circles are from ice crystals.
Thanks, Lavinia. We have a bright moon this morning.
Fantastic shots, Sir!
Thanks, Inchcock!
The variation of the color of the sky is interesting 🙂
Thanks, Harry!
Such prehistoric beings — beautifully photographed.
Thanks, Couriers!
The crane looks like a ptero flying lazy circles in the sky. 🙂
Hi David. We’ve noticed the cranes are doing a lot of flying in circles and playing in the wind.
Superlative series of shots! I feel free just from looking at them! Thank you!
Thanks, Resa!
Those cranes are glorious birds Tim and you have caught their acrobatics beautifully
Thanks, Julie!
