Just standing in the same place, camera in hand, waiting for butterflies to land is about as silly looking as it sounds. So framing it in one with the landscape, one with nature, one with the universe seems to take a bit of the edge off the silliness.

Every time I’ve tried to take a photo of a butterfly or bee, they fly away. Guess I have to be a little faster. Great shot, Tim!
You need to be patient, stand in one place, become part of the landscape, and wait for them to come back, then you can photograph them.
Become part of the landscape. Become one with the universe! I like that. 🙂 Patience will be the hardest part, though.
